TMM's Max to appear in Pixar's next flick!

Well, this is my opinion, no kidding Oh, I hated the voice of Roz. Threw me out of the film. I, and the people I attended the movie with, had the same feeling. The animation on her was spectacular, but I don't feel it matched the voice. The Shrek voices didn't bother me as much, but, again...

Herbert Becker makes offer to acquire 100% of the Jim Henson Company

Doesn't seem like he cares much about the Muppets at all. Smells bad to me.

You know it be great to see Mel Brooks direct and write a Muppet Movie...

Mel could always resurrect his career, but he hasn't penned or directed any new film that has been a hit in many years. Men in Tights (and all his other films of the past decade or so) were considered disappointments. If he started making hit films again I might reconsider my opinion of him...

You know it be great to see Mel Brooks direct and write a Muppet Movie...

Brooks was a great entertainer, but his projects don't carry the weight, wit or relevance they once did. IT is a term used to describe a bankable entertainer with mass appeal and that special spark that really touches people. He simply doesn't have that anymore. In your eyes he might, but that...

    Farscape Ratings: 1/10/2003

Wow. Respectable numbers for a niche network. I really think the shift in management is to blame. Happens all the time. Things get cancelled so that new guys can make their mark. I enjoyed the Stargate movie, but never liked the series. If I were up at 1AM and had a choice between a Floabie...

Herbert Becker makes offer to acquire 100% of the Jim Henson Company

I want to know how to make Sigfried & Roy and David Copperfield disappear. :D

The WWE: does it get any worse than this garbage?

I have to agree with you here. I never heard the example you stated. I watched the MTV Tough Enough series a couple times (for entirely different reasons ;)) and didn't really get why people would really want to do that for a living. It's just violence for violence sake. No real plot (just...

I think it time for me to really drop this facade and say maybe disney is best...

I found that the opposite was true in the original Laserdisc release of the films. They could have since been altered. These portions were also written up in Entertainment Weekly a few years after they had been released on video (the first time). No, these jokes weren't meant to be noticed by...

Just because I like to stir things up a bit, I present to you... Survey Madness!

That is a horrible situation. Glad you got through it, Kev. And thanks for the tips, very helpful. You're a guy I'd definitely want in my corner. :)

Herbert Becker makes offer to acquire 100% of the Jim Henson Company

Does this open the door for Disney again. Well, could go either way. There wasn't much info about Herbert or his intentions and that bothers me.

    1. What time is it? 5:27 PM 2. Number of candles that appeared on your last birthday cake: I don't really do cakes and candles, but it would have been 28 3. Date that you regularly blow them out? April 4 4. Pets: Lots of stuffed Muppets and Palisades figures 5. Eye color: Blue-green 6...

Has the JHC ever throught of making the (Little Shop Horrors 2)

Little Shop was directed by Frank Oz, but Henson didn't make the film. It would be an interesting sequel and a great project for Henson. I don't know how it would fare at the box office, but would be a cool cable film.

    Muppet Logos

Are you talking about the Muppet Show logo like the one on this page (you will have to scroll a little bit) http://www.muppetcentral.com/guides/episodes/tms/season1/4_buzzi.shtml If so, I could possibly hook you up. I'm thinking you might want the modern blue and green Muppet logo. I can't...

I just ordered Series Three from EBgames!

Thanks, Phillip. I too was wondering the reason behind that discrepancy. I guess it doesn't pay to be the early bird in this case. Ken has also said that the first figures shelved aren't always the best - that there is a learning curve that happens somewhere in the middle of the run where they...

You know it be great to see Mel Brooks direct and write a Muppet Movie...

Spike Lee? Has he had a hit? Most of his films don't make a profit until they hit video for a year. I just don't like much about him. Mel Brooks - his genius has apparently run its course. Yes, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein and The Producers were amazing films, but he's been in a slump...

Interesting thing about Muppet Central that can wreak havoc on people computers...

We have no intention to create an intro page. I used ithat as a bad solution to a simple problem - get the Flash plug-in. However, we are considering ways to make a friendlier solution for those who have restrictions against the plug in (i.e. schools). That is what this thread is about.

Farscape Returns with New Season 4 Episodes

No one I knew ever knew that Muppets Tonight was on until it had been canceled. But yeah, the Muppets are bigger overseas. They aren't that big as has been claimed. That's a misconception, a "grass is greener" mentality that isn't as true as we want to make it. There just hasn't been a good...
