Yes! Multi-teared and multicharactered. Good description. I remember seeing the original Fisher Price Muppet action figures in stores in the early 80's, and imagined wave after wave. Even at 3, 4 and 5 years old, I was a pretty rabid Muppet/Sesame collector. Going with my mom to thrift stores...
It's funny, because I *love* the standard Hasbro, Toy Biz, ect.
styles. I don't need detailed to almost grotesque proportion 8"
heavy figures I don't even have room for. When the Mcfarlane Standard changed the entire collector and figure market in 1997, it was good...but I also am glad for...
I've been waiting years for such a thing.
When it comes to what scale/look of Muppet figures has always excited me the most:

@DW: Speaking of Season 1 Muppet show, I'd love to see Droop and Mildred return. I just always loved their design.
@Colbyn: I forgot about Leon...I'd say bring back Lindbergh too. I love the "mix between Muppets and creature shop" style JHH was going for.
I've always preferred cartoony-like representations, as much as I admire the post Mcfarlane benchmark level of detail Palisades brought to the game.
But yeah, as much as we can complain Gobo, Sal, and the Sesame Street figures never saw the light of day...it is pretty amazing how for 3 years...
What are some of the Muppets, perhaps obscure, that you'd like to see come back for a Muppet online short/tv show/film/special/ect?
It's cool how they've brought back Carl the meanine and Luncheon Counter monster back. And I like how theyve used some Jim Henson Hour Muppets over the years(as...
Yeah I was hoping they would have done at least an online exclusive for these like they did with wave 4 of the muppet mini figures.
The Corgi ones were polystone, is that like some sort of hard resin?
I wonder if the seller realizes noone is going to buy any of these at those prices...
Well my point was just to mention that the Muppets have always been inclusive. People complained that Franklin was too much of a black stereotype on Sesame Street, and now "Old School Sesame Street" is labeled as "for mature audiences" or something because it shows kids playing in a real ghetto...
Argghhh! Why do I have to be a lowly poor boy?
All six of the unreleased Electric Mayhem mini figures are on ebay
for $500-$600...each. If I had money, I'd think about getting all of them if it was $500 for the whole lot:)...
At this point in human history, if someone is bothered by race they really wouldn't even be a muppet fan. I mean shoot, our President is bi-racial from a black father and white mom. In the story I'm sure the father was black, but adoption is also a great thing to celebrate.
To me it's like...
So what did we learn from Letters to Santa?
We learned that we live in an era where noone is going to whisper as to why a child is black but the mom is white. Because, then you'd have to answer to the President.
We learned that we as a nation have moved on to a point, where we can have a...
I agree! The Muppets work BEST when they are in real locations, with real people...especially when not everyone in the background is "in" on their being any filming(such as Muppets @WDW, Pepe interviewing people on the street, ect)
As for 1995, well the JHC wasn't doing too well back then...
I kind of fear for the current generation of kids...they are so used to ADD quick cuts, cynicism, and over abundance of cg animation...as many have said, if Fraggle Rock suddently debuted in 2008 it probably wouldnt go over too well...even though such is exactly what this world needs.
I have...

Absolutely. Again, hence why hardly anything that happens in any Muppet production can really be considered "canon" or continuity. When Elmo gives a presentation in front of congress, or when I saw Carroll Spinney with Oscar...it's not "haha, look at the guy with the puppet on his hand" like one...
How come we didn't see Crazy Harry at the airport? That woulda been pretty edgy:) (I LOVED how they made fun of how crazy security has gotten at the airports) I also liked the featuring of a biracial family.
People are right, this did feel pretty condensed. It felt like a 90 minute(two hours...
NBC's The Office: Muppet References
Not sure about anyone else, but NBC's "The Office" is my absolute favorite show of the last few years; and I was pleasantly surprised to see how many Muppet references their continually are.
In one episode, Michael Scott the boss(Steve Carrel)
says he...
Sadly that does seem to be a big prevailing view of folks. "Oh, the Muppets...how kitch. I love the two old guys! And that one guy, what's his name, Fonzie?" ...or worse. "Oh yeah, I remember that baby stuff".
I think it's good the folks helming all these new projects, from the Muppet and...
I take it that the Muppet movie and Fraggle movies(and, Dark Crystal 2) won't be in theaters til 2010?
I can't help but also dream for a theatrical Sesame Street film in 2010....now wouldnt that be the ultimate trifecta?(1999 saw a theatrical Muppet and Sesame film of course)
2010 to be the...
