This certainly looks promising...
Even worse is when 4kids blows all their Pokédollars on digital paint to erase Japanese and even English text on signs because "kids today don't read". Well, aren't you exacerbating the problem that way?
Also, notice the way Eric Stuart (Brock) delivers his line here, almost as if...
The Dutch version changes up the lesson for "Grow High Grow Low" for some reason: They make it about plant colors instead.

Obviously, the many gags and word puns in Asterix are difficult to translate, so new ones are made instead. This can work out beautifully, such as Asterix's catch phrase "Those Romans are crazy!" translating literally as "Sono pazzi questi Romani!" in the Italian version, a play on the Roman...
These were often used to replace skits teaching Spanish or American culture. Also, note the pronunciation of the letter Z as "zed" (which all other countries use except America).

- Dr. Nobel Price and his wacky inventions that already exist.
- Ruby Monster. I love her Cloud Cuckoolander-ish behavior for some reason, plus there are a serious lack of female monsters on the Street.
- Monty, once again for his Cuckoolander-ish behavior.
Don't forget "Beam me up, Scotty.". The closest that was ever used on Star Trek was "Scotty, beam us up.".
Also, "We don't need no stinkin' badges!" is from Blazing Saddles. The original version from Treasure of the Sierra Madre was actually "Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no...
