"Dr. Death" is dead at 83 due to kidney problems and pneumonia. Regardless of your stance on assisted suicide and people's right to die, I believe he wasn't an evil man, and he should be allowed to rest in peace.
Plus, Kimba was still in the public domain at the time (its production company went bankrupt), so Disney was pretty much safe as far as ripping off the premise goes.
Once again, if those Commercial-Free Childhood knuckleheads really care about keeping commercials away from our kids, they should contribute to PBS instead of whining about how Ronald McDonald is getting our kids hooked on Happy Meals.
I'm watching The Beast of Yucca Flats right now. I also loved the two shorts that went along with it, especially Progress Island USA (about Puerto Rico).
I like that we can now embed photos and videos, as well as post a message in a thread without hitting a separate link, but the new layout will definitely take some getting used to.

Since they've had a deaf character on the show, it would make just as much sense to include a blind one, too. And, of course, if it weren't for Richard Hunt's performance (seems like there's a lot of ad-libbing, too), he would just be another bland, one-dimensional handicapped character.

- Sidehackers (Particularly for the scoreboard Cambot brings up at one point...
Eric's first performance certainly sounded more Grover-like, but he definitely improved a bit in the second. He has kept Smiley's excitability intact, though.
There's also Dooley and Pals (A "Children's Ministry" version with shoehorned in bible lessons at the end currently airs on some Christian digital subchannel) and The Reppies (another Christian-turned-secular show).
