The Muppets really did take over Disneyland! I thought it was just going to be a couple of em...this totally reminds me of Muppets At Walt Disney World(my favorite special of all time right under MFC)
Funnily enough, this all went down one month to the day before my family and I are...
Thank you Pawncracker, Frogboy and everyone else. Tis very very encouraging to hear the magic of Muppetcentral.com will be back soon:)
I definitely miss all the articles, and it seems the 1998-2002 period was the busiest.

As a lifelong collector and fan I'd love to have this too, but I think there's others...
Well no shocker here, it's been pretty obvious(and VERY cool)
that 2010(the 55 year anniversary) will be THE return of the Muppets leading to the 2011 movie and new show.
Oh man, this post on the thread was too much
"I am all for new Muppet stuff but I still don't want Disney to go Muppet...
Scary Scary Monsters is a 1998-1999 Jim Henson Company Muppet offshoot starring Splurge and other monsters in their own Fraggle Rock like world, mostly told through childrens books:

Some plushes and merchandise was made, and word had it that...
Those are some great ones too, but I meant more of regarding characters from any Henson/Sesame Workshop/Muppet Holding Company offshoot, brand or related franchise.
Absolutely. I would say EVERY Muppet character who has ever appeared in animated, comic book or children's illustrated book form.
Finally, we get a full on look at the amazing suits that the Jim Henson Creature Shop made for this film. Looks absolutely visionary, and Im so glad these guys arent all cgi

Sir that is amazing! I apologize, I have not seen your thread.
You are by far one of the most amazing historians and minds on here!
And I totally forgot about Pajanimals, Panwapa, and all the 80's to early 90's straight to video specials.
I would say Pajanimals is absolutely Muppets, as...
Well...given the extremely similar look of Between the Lions to Sesame Street, those wonderful PBS commercials featuring both
Between the Lions and Sesame characters, and the frequent Sesame character guest spots on Between the Lions...I can certainly see *why* people would think they are part...
Im HOPING this and the Fraggle movie get a 2011 date, which means filming next year.
However, why is it no trade papers/imdb/profiles/wikipedia/etc lists any sort of muppet movie on the upcoming plate of either of these guys? (Siegal/Stoller)?
Thanks for posting this. I have this on a vhs somewhere, but its great to have a digital copy.
I personally consider the secret 97th episode:) :excited:
I believe under "Muppet characters" alone(strictly relating to The Muppet Show itself, specials, and movies) there's a couple thousand alone listed on the wiki.
I strictly only mean puppet characters that have appeared on Jim Henson Company related shows/specials/appearances 1955-2009(even...
Im just glad to see this site still going. Ive always felt true Muppet fandom was extremely underground, especially compared to LOTR/Harry Potter/Star Trek/Disneyana/Anime/Star Wars/Whedon fan communities online. And Muppets have been around 55 years and have a gillion brands, as well as Sesame...
Next year marks the 55 year anniversary of the Muppets, and it got me thinking...
Out of boredom I went to http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Muppet_Wiki and was randomly looking at all the characters listed simply for the Muppet Show/Muppet brand, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and Bear in the Big Blue...
No offense, but isn't $100 plus shipping a bit steep for this guy?

We are just waiting for the perfect event to make it everyone's worthwhile. It WILL happen in the next year or so. Especially with the Fraggle movie, Muppet movie and rumored new Muppet show on tap
We're just waiting for
1) an official Muppetcon
2) A "Muppets Weekend Celebration" type...
I hear what you're saying. There's massive conventions(both main ones and smaller ones) for: Star Wars, Star Trek, anime, Firefly/Whedon fans, Buffy, Twilight, Harry Potter, LOTR,
Legos, Transformers, GI Joe, Disney(HUGE Disney official con in Anaheim in Sept)
Yet...nothing for Muppet fans...
