1. My mom finally had herself admitted to the hospital, which we can't afford, but she's fed up with her primary doctor not doing anything to further help her, and she's almost non-functional.
2. Trump is threatening a government shut down if nobody will fund and build his wall.
3. Taylor S#!+...
I have a lady friend who has a crazy ex who's trying to blackmail her by sending out doctored photos of her if she doesn't give into his crazy demands.
This is seriously like out of some Lifetime movie or something.
We just got through another brief streak of typical-for-this-time-of-year summer heat of 90+ degree temps for a few days, but according to both local and national weather forecasts, apparently that's it for this year: apparently, summer is ending early this year for much of the eastern half of...
Too true. This is why whenever you see idiots trying to eat ghost peppers or something like that, they're usually crying and begging for a gallon of milk afterwards.
It should be noted this is part of a series of videos SST's been putting out for a week or so for their new #SharetheLaughter Challenge (of which I participated in last week, hint-hint, nudge-nudge).
Check out this relatively new(er) YouTube Channel, the videos are absolutely amazing; they really look like vintage 16mm film prints from decades past!

My mom messed her knee up last week, but with each passing day, she actually getting better and better up until the weekend, when for whatever reason, he knee did an immediate about-face, and has gotten worse and worse each day, to now where she's at a point where she's virtually crippled and...
The entire eclipse is over for us, and I just reviewed the video footage I shot, and yeah - leaving the camera's exposure on automatic was probably a mistake: I fast-forwarded through the whole thing, and it honestly looks the same the entire time then only slightly darker during totality, then...
Well, our totality is over, and it was pretty cool: like mr3urious, didn't get pitch dark, but it did get really, really dim outside - like if somebody replaced the sun with a 20 or 10-watt bulb, lol. Our streets popped on, the evening bugs started calling out, it was pretty cool.
I think I...
It's currently 1:02 local time, the eclipse is supposed to begin in my area in two minutes, but we've got some teasing going on right now: a few big cumulus clouds are passing through, so that's kind of throwing things off, lol.
I've got my camera set up to film it and I'll time lapse it later...
I just looked into it, and it turns out, my area is not in the 100% total eclipse range. So, bummer on that, but we're still pretty darn close, so who knows how dark it'll get.
Remember that RECESS episode where Gretchen wanted to see the eclipse? I tried posting some clips from that on YouTube in honor of the actual clips, and seriously, Disney nuked it for copyright the second it finished uploading.
Apparently a lot of people thought Hall and Oates were black as well based on their soulful singing.
In all honesty, I had previously assumed Steve Tyrell was black as well - something about his voice and the way he sings makes me think if Redd Foxx could carry a tune, that's what he'd sound...
