Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4922 - Dinosaur in the Laundromat

Felt like an extended celebrity sketch for a bit there. Nice bit of background acting on Herry thinking he was the person they were going to consult. But, I know "RuleOfFunny" and all, why would an adult man like Chris have a dinosaur toy? They couldn't elaborate on something, anything. And...

New Muppet series in development for Disney's 2019 streaming service

Yeah, no. Aside from some special cases, Disney doesn't do that the Mickey Mouse crew. Nor should they with the Muppets.

New Muppet series in development for Disney's 2019 streaming service

Despite how they're being handled as of late, I can't really imagine the Muppets in the hands of any other media company other than Disney right now.

New Muppet series in development for Disney's 2019 streaming service

Imma take a step back a bit on this. My gut reaction was "GRRRRRRR!", as I'm sure every other Muppet fan's would've been. But I'm now seeing two factors: 1. All the Muppet performers are probably committed to Sesame this year for the 50th anniversary stuff (the tour, appearances on other...

New Muppet series in development for Disney's 2019 streaming service

I think you're mistaking "pessimism" with "an understanding of reality." I'm willing to be surprised, but ever since the ABC series was cancelled, there's been practically nothing. Yes, the live shows were cool. But what else has there been? Those "Thoughts of the Week" videos? "Drop the Mic?"...

New Muppet series in development for Disney's 2019 streaming service

I'd be more willing to believe that if there weren't rumors of it happening as far back as February of last year.

New Muppet series in development for Disney's 2019 streaming service

Unless there's stuff still going on, they didn't announce anything Muppet-related, new or old, unless they're just being lumped in with general stuff. And their own press release makes no mention of them.

    Questions about anything

So when you're choosing the images you want to upload, on the bottom right corner of the big picture there should be an icon looking like a stacked deck of cards. That enables you to add more than one image in a post. I would also suggest that you use the icon on the bottom left if you want all...

    Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4921 - Julia's Haircut

I mean, there wasn't much surprise in the story, but it's nice getting another Julia episode and the stuff with Elmo was amusing enough (Abby makes the one poof hairdo work). I'm assuming the hairdresser in the photo is actually the Sesame hairdresser or some other staffer. Yeah, I like the...

Quiz: Can You Name At Least 60 Muppets Before Time Runs Out?

Yeah, I missed 13 or something. Weird that Constantine was included but not Walter.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

The idea nugget for YouTube was because they creators thought there was no easy platform for sharing the clip of Janet Jackson at that one SuperBowl. YT is a video sharing site; the fact that content creators were able to make money off it wasn't really the main thrust of the site.

New Sesame Street movie in development with Warner Bros.

I get Doug's frustration over the ratings thing. Speaking frankly, once I reached the age where age restrictions no longer mattered, I stopped paying attention to ratings.

Sesame Street Season 50 News and Rumors

I mean, they weren't supposed to really fool anyone. They're just for laughs.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4920 - Elmo the Engineer

Can't complain about seeing Guy Smiley again. I've realized the only thing missing from Eric's portrayal is the air of "showbiz phony" Jim had with Guy (not counting the toupee bit). And Elmo's mom is in good hands again. Huh, that People in Your Neighborhood thing was an interesting surprise...

    Bring Your Own Can Night

I'll just answer these for the sake of it: -She appears in at least one episode that week setting up Buffy staying in Oscar's can. -I'm pretty sure Olivia lived with Gordon and Susan during her time on the show; there's only the three apartments in 123 (the Robinson's, Maria's and E&B's)...

Muppet Guys (And Gals) Talking: The Muppet Family Interviews Thread

Well, first off, it's TMZ. Nobody owes them a single ounce of anything. Their article on the video called Ryan androgynous or some such, which is a little insulting. Also, Ryan like *just* took over the role at that point, so what could he really say?

    Episode info from trusted sources

Yeah, man. It's done in sign and not actually acknowledged in dialogue.

    Little things we've noticed

I'm 90% sure Frank is the lead, Richard is the Lavender, Jerry is the blue and Jim is the other Green. Roosevelt Franklin always seems like Frank to me.
