I used to have that same problem when I was a kid . . . but it was partly because there were certain shows I liked that everybody else hated, and I really had no one else to talk with about them - like ROCKO'S MODERN LIFE or COW AND CHICKEN.
(Yes, despite both of their current popularity for...
I think Drtooth was the one who said it best when he said whereas the Chipmunks could take a bad song and actually make it good, Glee could take a bad song and actually make it ever worse.
OMG, GLEE was a horrible show! There's so many songs I can't listen to anymore because they killed them for me (Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" tops the list - I can't listen to that song without hearing their shrilly, grating refrain in the back of my mind like fingernails on a chalkboard). And...
To be fair, in my case, I see things from different perspectives than most people do, much like Jim himself.
For example: the general consensus of the SUPER MARIO BROS. movie was that it sucked because of poor casting decisions (hey, I really like Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo), lackluster...
I've heard about certain people going bald at really young ages, but I've also heard about other people who go completely gray at young ages too.
I'm not sure about the balding factor, but I heartell people with darker hair tend to gray younger and faster than people who have lighter/blonder...
Closed captions for anything SST never match the actual dialogue that's being spoken . . . I guess whoever does the captioning figure little kids can't real full and complete sentences yet, so they just overly simplify the lines for them.
It certainly was surprising for sure because it was unexpected, but it was also amusing, because what are the odds of something like that happening without trying some crazy stunt to draw the birds to you?
MFS (and KSY, for that matter) is not as bad as many people make it out to be.
But VMX is nowhere near as good as many people make it out to be, either.
I had a pocket knife with me just in case, lol.
But it actually went super smooth: the only problem I encountered was just as I finished filming a construction worker approached me and saw me out of the building because apparently they're working on refurbishing the building and no one is...
As I mentioned a while back, I'm getting ready to go on an urban exploration, but I'm really nervous because I've been made well aware of the possibility that where I'm going could be inhabited by shady characters (homeless people, druggies, what have you) and that there's quite a bit of police...
It seems like the main reason most people dislike MFS is because it ended up being deviated from Jim Lewis and Joey Mazzarino's original script so much (because the nature of Gonzo's origins and his identity were still supposed to be a mystery instead of bringing us the closure we ended up...
YAY!!! Another new episode with no sketches or additional Scrappy castmembers, and a review of a nostalgic movie that almost every 90s kid loved:
Holy crap, not only is Doug still shaving his head for some reason, but apparently he's also starting to shave his goatee!
Getting back to the topic at hand, the schedule for the Fanbox Expo has been finalized, and the Q&A panel and sing-along with the SST cast will be Saturday at 12:10, followed by the photo-op at 12:50, but the cast may be there for autographs the whole weekend, I'm not sure: the fan package is...
Everyone has some kind of say in how a character delivers the lines, because you've got writers who wrote the lines and have their interpretations, you've got directors who tell the performers how to say the line from their interpretations, then you've got the performers who have to say the...
The start of the downfall was the summer of 2009, because that's when Google's tyranny began kicking, but the clincher was 2013 when they shifted more focus onto videos they want you to watch, and channels they want you to subscribe to, rather than letting us just simply watch the videos from...
