Well... the first one, anyway. The second film went into "wants to be the cartoon series, but not using the cartoon characters" territory. At least the third one had a nice "Tales of the TMNT" style plot they kinda messed up.
Seriously, the second film was disappointing when you look at it...
I like that one as well, probably a tiny bit more than the first, but yeah. The McCallisters still are freaking horrible parents, the Wet Bandits inexplicably meet back up with the same kid in a different city, and there's that creepy old person who's just lonely. At least the Hotel gave some...
Yes. Definitely. Especially when they have an off guest star, the fawning was just awkward and took time away from some great Muppet humor. Not that there weren't great background moments with memorable guests that knew what the Muppets were all about, that is. If there's one thing I really...
Happy Meal collector's alert. MLP is going to be the girls toy after the Home promotion. Supposedly it's the pony and human counterparts of 4 of the characters. I know this because of the mega exciting freaking Robots in Disguise promotion for the boys! Squee!!! And they have Underbite...
Can I say how utterly disappointed I was that the Phineas and Ferb X Star Wars special yielded no freaking merchandise at all? I totally wanted a Darthenshmirtz and a Darth Maul Ferb toy.
A lesser show would have made fake Muppets and use bad impersonations of the characters with little puppetry experience. SNL made this skit funny by using the real darn thing!
Not that MadTV's Sesame Street parody episodes weren't sometimes actually funny with a surprising amount of research...
Probably told everyone by now that I frequent the mall Paul Blart was filmed at and even was there on a day of shooting. Unfortunately, an interior scene shot in an abandoned storefront, and just missed Kevin James (who apparently wasn't in a good mood). I never actually got to see the movie...
Oh, don't worry. It will probably pop up somewhere less than reputable. It usually does.
Kinda disappointed someone from Australia didn't put up all the Robots in Disguise episodes already.
I finally got a better look at the second episode, and I just love how the series still has the bizarre mythological/fantasy elements of Chowder, but approaches them at a different angle. In Chowder, the giant finger would have been a gag with a punchline and it would have been funny. Here, it...
If there's one thing that gets me angry as a Christian, it's convenient Conservative Christianity. And I don't mean Orthodox Christianity, I mean Politically Conservative. Like that Duck Dynasty guy. In the infamous interview he said something homophobic and claimed "BAHBLE!!!" and then...
You know what they say, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, no more so than with the internet. Old, angry shut ins find these horrible attempts at humor, believe they're real, and start spreading misinformation to other angry old jerks, and it goes from jokes that's worse than the worst...
Yeah, but having read the outline for that Fox pilot, we can basically say it was a good thing that never got off the ground. The Mockumentary could have gone either way, but America's Next Top Muppet would have been horrible. I'm sure that if this pilot does get picked up this time, Disney...
Anyone else love how Jeff was just as goofy as Clarence when he was stuck in the well and Sumo was the voice of reason? Sure, Jeff was losing it, but I love those times where Sumo becomes the brains of the outfit.
The funny thing being Mammy Two-Shoes was a progressive character. It was her home any episode she was in, not the maid. In 1940's America, that was HUGE! The character was actually the least outrageous portrayal at the time. But it doesn't carry over well anymore.
Of course, if it's long...
What I just said exactly. He's been in every one of the Show in a Show cartoons the Turtles watch. And he's always the one that gets the sense slapped into him.
Sure, but he had a very early 90's haircut in the flashback. Seems the writers forget they're teenagers when it's convenient.
Have to admit, I really dislike the episodes where the Titans sit around doing something stupid and learning the magic of something stupid. Though they are quite a bit...
Okay... just in case you didn't get the joke...
Have to admit, I never really got around to watching Evangelion cuz I'm too busy with the weird stuff no one else watches or has heard of. But once you get the references, everything falls into place.
Nice to see the Baby Ducks back.
