The new Abby's Amazing Adventure was fun. I liked how it seemed like the trays were gonna be messed up, but Abby fixed with her magic. I also thought running out of broccoli and using green beans as a substitute was an interesting conclusion.
Kip Baffle: We're on Instagram @DillonGale and Facebook, the DillonGale Idiots.
Host 1: I really love your show, by the way. I saw a 5 minute clip of it and I really enjoyed it.
Kip: Thanks. We haven't done anything in a really long time, but we might be doing more soon. We're working on some...
Apparently this special will air on PBS this March. What's up with that? Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas aired on PBS a year after it aired on HBO. Why is it taking longer for the other specials?
It was nice to see Cookie's food truck in a street story. It would have been better if Gonger was there though. I liked how Cookie called the mushrooms umbrella cookies.
I'm surprised they found a way to spoof Baby Got Back. I really liked the rendition of Imagination at the end, the performers' singing abilities really shined there.
Finally got around to watching this. I really enjoyed the fact that it took place at Rowlf's Tavern. That makes some sort of indication that the Muppets on ABC has fans even if it was short-lived.
I thought Elmo apologizing for the bus being in Hooper's Store was a funny delivery. I also liked Gonger passing out over Cookie increased the speed of the mixer. And Ms. Noodle having a third hand while pretending to be a passenger was kinda funny.
JD Hansel: A big part of what makes television not terrible right now, which to me is refreshing because I grew up in a time period when TV was by and large terrible, what makes it work is there are these companies like Netflix and Amazon Prime that aren't getting in the way of creators creating...
I enjoyed the street story. It was nice seeing Snuffy involved and Zoe with the disguise showed Jen's impressive vocal range where she can do a rather convincing male voice.
For some reason, Disney Channel only showed the Rowlf episode. I really liked the duet with Kermit and Rowlf hearkening back to I Hope that Something Better comes Along. I think Matt Danner does a very good Rowlf voice.
I learned why Josh Groban's song was so catchy: It was composed by Matthew Sklar. Broadway composers seem to put the most effort into Sesame songs these days, even when it's a street story song where the lyrics and music were written separately.
Sorry I didn't talk about this earlier, got caught up in other things. I liked how the first episode showed how everyone can be great in their own way. I liked the jazzy song Gonzo sang with the aliens who look like him. I also loved Gonzo's line "That's it, no goodbye selfie?"
Finally got around to watching this rather odd guest appearance. I do find it interesting how they're trying to find ways for the Muppets to be seen as normal celebrities.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Mama Bear again. I liked how Bert was surprised to learn how Ernie's uncle wasn't a persona put on by Ernie. The best part of Ernie having a performer who's more available, besides being able to see more of him, is seeing him interact with Abby. The bit with...
