I could go on a debate about the quality of TV writing and the right kind of edginess in TV sitcoms, or I can say I can finally watch a Family oriented sitcom on ABC and not die from complications of diabetes. Or brain hemorrhaging.
(Seriously, I can't stress enough how Glob awful their 2002...
The whole Q*Bert cartoon was off to me. What they did with Donkey Kong was obvious enough and sort of followed the video game. They had to change Pauline's relationship because somehow a guy and his girlfriend traveling together was considered taboo for a show in the 80's somehow. Other than...
The whole issue of the Confederate Flag got me to realize something. There's this inconsistent culture of corporate freedom in certain groups that's hypocritical as heck. Hear me out.
The US government's only recourse towards removing the flag is removing it from its own government buildings...
Except the difference is there's variety. I'm glad to see these Netflix originals (and if you do enough looking you can totally find most of them on not that legal sites), as there's this annoying disconnect with animated programming. I like the shows on CN, but there's like 5 of them, TTG...
There were some specifics that are exclusive to Sailor Moon having a redub. I remember that SHOUT got the rights to release some not well known anime that was on Fox Kids the last years of its run. I want to say Medabots. Actually I think it was... but anyway they only released the dub...
I'm very glad that Dreamworks was able to continue one of their cartoons that got screwed by a major cable network. I'm disappointed by Monsters Vs Aliens' run, especially the "And the Adventure Continues" ending. That was the franchise's second chance and Nick blew it.
Now, I have only...
Dolph: I'm gonna kiss the ground.
Kearney: Loser! You're gay for the ground.
Dolph: Well, you're gay for homophobia!
Kearney: WOW! You just made me gay for tolerance.
I'm stretching a little on this one because it's not so much terrible as much as it's ...kinda indescribably strange, but something's still pretty bad about it.
So, apparently there was an episode of Q*Bert (which is a pretty dumb cartoon itself) where there's a music contest of some sort...
I think they mean in a fandom/fan fic sort of way. Outside of that...
It's clearly trolling, but I never liked how the Simpson writers want to doom Lisa to marrying Milhouse. And it's strange because Lisa's essentially the writer's pet half the time (she's gotten better in recent years), why...
That's one of those "don't think about it" things. Kool-Aid man gives kids his bodily fluids (unless just the pitcher is alive). Foghorn Leghorn did KFC commercials after years of trying to outsmart the Chickenhawk, which is puzzling as heck for Looney Tunes fans who actually watched his...
You notice that they're just piling on movies in July? At least 3 or 4 movies on July 10th alone? Minions, the stupid horror movie, and that bit about Ben Kingsley dying and transferring into the body of Ryan Reynolds. I think there's one more. Anyway, nice to see Ant-Man trailers finally...
Even more interesting... a full episode of Sesamstraße was uploaded and of note it features something...errr...interesting done with "Healthy Food" and (get ready for this)...
The Miami Mice sketch with Count VonCount!
Logic aside, I really don't think anything after 2003 should be considered "Old School" as 2003's season is essentially modern era when all the big changes started happening. I don't find 10-15 years to be that long ago. 3 times older than it's target demo, yes. Old enough to be considered...
You know... I never knew Sesamstraße had it's own Youtube page.

But here's something interesting. They took various song clips from other countries and made them into some sort of Eurovision Song Contest promotion...
Here's yet another from that..I dunno what it's called series.
Okay... observations. This program must have some money to be able to get the rights to perform a Neil Diamond song. Even if the characters are just screeching through it. And this is what really gets me...
All the puppets have...
While I fail to see the appeal of Grown Ups (both 1 and 2), and especially hate how the second one was more appealing to mainstream filmgoers than the freaking amazing Pacific Rim, it really seems outside of that (and Hotel Transylvania) he's slowly slipping in relevance. Not to Jim Carrey box...
For someone like me who complains a lot about commercials, I actually have a high tolerance for stupid. Now, it's not so much I like those Heinz commercials you speak of so much as I get what they're trying to do, but somehow it doesn't work in execution. Something has to be really bad...
They have been hinting to growing feelings and there's the usual embarrassed immature reaction from Rigby. Making it official does two things here. It rewards those who thought this was happening all along sure, but it shows a sign of Rigby actually maturing. You can tell that Rigby was...
On the one had, it's hard not to get excited. We all have to realize how much of a boon YT is for... well, anything. I'm not talking about Sesame or Muppet clips. There's a crapload of lost/hard to find/abandoned content you just can't find streaming or on DVD. Companies tend to write off...
