Sesame Street no longer on HBO Family starting 11/1

You're reading into it too much. I don't know the full story, but I know they couldn't reach an agreement in time for the stuff to go on there.

Sesame Street Special - "A Swingin’ Sesame Street Celebration" with Wynton Marsalis on PBS Friday October 30, 2020

The song left off the album were cut. The first round of "Three of These Things" was cut too. There was a music-less interlude with Grover and Ernie somewhere that was also cut. You can watch the unedited concert on YT right now:

Sesame Street Special - "A Swingin’ Sesame Street Celebration" with Wynton Marsalis on PBS Friday October 30, 2020

They cut out exactly what I thought they would. Still a great show overall. Does anyone have that 2000 Boston Pops show? I can't believe that hasn't tuned up online anywhere yet.

Sesame Street Special "The Monster at the End of This Story"

Just Grover, Elmo, Abby, Rosita, Cookie and Oscar.

Sesame Street Special "The Monster at the End of This Story"

I thought it was cute. Abby's presence was a little perfunctory since she's not a monster and contributed nothing.

‘Tiny Toons’ Is Heading Back to ‘Looniversity’ With New Episodes on HBO Max and Cartoon Network

Sure why not. If we start getting word of a Histeria reboot, that's where I'll be concerned.

    Questions about anything

They just migrated us to a new system. It's not 100% swell.

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

Sure it's not a huge issue, but it's not something dumb like "our Starbucks cups are red!"

Sesame Street no longer on HBO Family starting 11/1

That's still part of the deal, yes.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5011 - The Great Fruit Strike

I think it's because they really aren't doing insert sketches anymore (at least ones without celebrities), but they still want to use the character in some way.

Sesame Street no longer on HBO Family starting 11/1

Oddly enough The Electric Company and Pinky Dinky Doo will still be on the channel.

Sesame Street Special "The Power of We"

    I don't quite know how I felt about this. I didn't love it, but I didn't super-dislike it either.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

It's on the Wiki, so not confidential.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

Some swell Wiki user pointed us to a photo confirming these oddball things were in fact made for and shown in Sesame Place: Nice to finally have some confirmation on that at long last.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

The Oscar runs for Mayor episode is the one that really hurts in retrospect.

    The New New Quote Thread

I don't really care whether it changes peoples minds or not about what happened. I'm sure the performers are most comfortable just moving on.

    The New New Quote Thread

I wish people wouldn't ask the Muppet performers questions like that on these public venues. It's really not the place for that kind of gossip.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

That one was already available for download through other sources, so I assume all the rights and such was cleared already, thus easy to put on there.
