Europe says US-Made cheeses can't use Old World names

Apparently, this sort of thing has already been going on in other places such as Canada, where the foreign cheeses often end in "-like" or "-style". The whole argument reeks of stereotypical European snootiness to me. I don't think these proposals will get very far.

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Thread

A bit disappointed that (spoilers in white) the alternate universe scene had so little screen time, but there's potential for this arc with the worm to be revisited. Still, an impressively animated scene, most likely done in Flash.

What is your favorite Sid and Marty Krofft shows?

I guess you can say they really are "puffing stuff". :D

New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

That and the human protagonists weren't all that interesting, at least to me. Who says Muppet movies have to be sweet 24/7?

    Who is this Narrator?

Just started watching the Clone Wars TV series, and I've noticed, too.

Movies You Like But Everyone Else Hates.

The Flintstones at least has impressive set designs, as well as impressive puppets courtesy of Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

    How can someone hate Elmo?

Though the writers still try to provide witty dialogue and sketches when they're allowed to.

    Misheard Song Lyrics

That's most likely a pet name.

    Any Bronies on here?

Doesn't Seabreeze kinda sound like Scrooge McDuck on helium to anyone else? I'd love to imagine that little horsefly screaming "A sea monster ate mah ice cream!". :D

    The Funny Picture Thread

Gotta love those crazy shots of blink-and-you'll-miss in-betweens, now even more accessible thanks to DVRs and the Internet. :D

    Songs You Can't Stand

It wore out its welcome way too quickly. The Internet not only made it popular, but also destroyed it.

New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

I'd also say The Muppets was an homage to those "get the band back together" stories.

That reminds me of the final episode of Dan Vs., showing just how much these two stay together the way they do. :)

Why do the "New" Muppets look so off?

Same goes for Hoots. His older look was more like that of an owl with the eyes and messy feathers. I don't mind Bert looking this perfect, however. He is supposed to be a neat freak, after all.

Why do the "New" Muppets look so off?

I'm not really too bothered by the new Fozzie and Gonzo designs either. I don't notice much of a difference unless I look hard enough. I can easily see the rounder head and shaggier fur in the new Foz, and that's about it. But yes, I agree with the move beyond design perfection in the '80s to...

    The Funny Picture Thread

That Teletubby phone is pretty honest, too. Sure, it's "tele-" as in "telephone", but still fitting. :D

    The Chipmunks

It's been renewed for a third season now, so that's something. Ah yes, the Constant Payne pilot. A shame that never took off.

    The Steven Universe thread

It's a great, albeit depressing, allegory of old age and maturity. Steven things he's feeling too old for certain things, and then adulthood smacks him in the face all of a sudden; as he quickly abandons childhood, he begins to rapidly age (thanks to his gem powers). On the plus side, we get...

What is your least favorite Muppet Movie?

The Muppets certainly has its issues, what with awkward editing and its putting too many characters into the movie, not to mention the somewhat dull human leads (IMO). But I wouldn't call it the worst Muppet movie I've ever seen, or the worst thing to be associated with them.

The Worst Sesame Street Game that Never was... Grover Music Maker.

After seeing a recent review from one of my YouTube subs, these games certainly look and play better than other games of its category. They really do feel like something straight out of the arcade, and even have enough variety and difficulty levels to entertain older kids. The reason for this is...
