Change is good and healthy. This still beats the old, unsightly, rickety Delphi forum with all of its new junk ads. As said many times before - this is not the final version of the forum. We are far from it. This is a work in progress. Many things will change, some we'll just have to get used...
Mine was a draw between Rizzo and Strangepork. Eventually I picked Rizzo because I prefer the character, but Strangepork and all of the rest of the figures in this series are strong likenesses. There's not a weak one in the bunch. I was concerned because there were no first-string Muppets in...
Sal. He made a very generic puppet into his own distinct character through his creativity and brilliant performance. I also like Seymour. I think he gets a bad rap. Okay, so he's like Beauregard lite, but I enjoy him. :)
No, a 9-10 inch Sweetums would be in scale. This debate has gone on for days over at Palisades with pictures, charts etc. He'd almost be mega, but still shorter like I stated - about 10 inches. That's the word from the almighty Ken. ;)
That's very strange. It's the only complaint of the sort we have received. Please send your information (browser, computer type and OS to Phillip and we'll try to nail down the problem. :)
What does that mean? Could you clarify? What you wrote doesn't make much sense. It could just be a case of funky grammar or sentence structure but I can’t decipher what you said there. Thanks. Also, does the problem occur for just a moment or does it continue even after the page has finished...
Update:
Ken has recently confirmed (on the Palisades board) that any future Sweetums figure would not be considered a Mega Muppet. It will somehow be in the regular line and measure in at about 10 inches. This would be considerably shorter than Mega Beaker or Mega Animal, so even though he...
Phillip is still ironing out some functions. However, the page has been centered and positioned to the menu since it went up quite a while back. It keeps things uniform with the other pages. The page isn't any more cramped than it was before the upgrade. Maybe there's a margin issue.
I also...
I'm stepping in the middle of this silliness to coax members to pose real questions and post the off-topic or humorous comments in another thread. Some people may have real concerns that are getting lost. Thanks.
Much work went into the guidelines to make them simple, friendly and to the...
Ugh. If I hear one more thing about Clay I'm gonna spew chunks. Sorry for the graphic visual. I just don't admire the guy like the rest of y'all do. He is a good singer, but I don't like his style at all. To me he has the same charisma as David Hasselhof, but with a better voice. :grouchy:
The thing about Garfield is that a movie would have to go a different rout. Unfortunately, Garfield is no longer a big property. It's turned into cheese in the minds of most Americans. We're now at a time that ALF is more hip than Garfield. This movie - and going a different way - could change...
I just heard a review of the Hulk from Ebert and Roper. I take everything they say with a grain of salt, but they gave the film (opening this week) two thumbs up. One of the surprising statements they made about the CG is that the Hulk looks spectacular in the close-ups and medium shots, but can...
So Kermit was the second best TV animal right. or am I reading that wrong? That's fantastic!
Why is it so hard to tell the difference between Sesame Street and the Muppet Show? I guess a guy like Hyde Pierce, bing at least in his late 40s, didn't grow up with SS as a kid. Maybe that's it...
Did you get the Link and Strangepork yet? The outfits look so cool and much brighter and sparklier than even I expected. The facial texture is amazing too.
Apparently there were issues locating professional quality images for the box. I think MTI Sam was the issue. The thing is, they can't get a print quality image from a mere scan or screen capture. Henson must provide them with such an image.
I agree, I love the toys, but it bites not having...
No problem. Keep in mind that the forum is still a work in progress. There's still some fine-tuning. :zany:
By the way, nobody noticed the difference in the menu. It now flows out from the center. Just thought I'd bug with it since I had to swap the link. :concern:
