LOL! Well it sounded like the loveboat to me the way they explained what they were going to do. ABC is losing money so they have made cuts in every department. Funny enough, their reality programming is the only thing roping in viewers these days.
ABC is known for its bad decisions since being bought by Disney. In the last year they changed timeslots for the Practice (that kills many shows in case there are some who are unaware) and they axed some critically acclaimed new shows before having time to gain an audience.
I don't like the...
It was a bewilderment, not a criticism, that he Hulk has been around so long and there are people out there who don't know his M.O. Because of that it sounded like a criticism from you rather than a legitimate question. The Hulk reasons on a primative level when he changes, not necessarily a...
Beau is considered a chunky sort of character similar to Fozzie. Ken didn't want two chunky characters in the same wave. It makes sense. I agree with you on wanting Beau more, but I agree with Ken's marketing choice. Also, I think Beau would be a bigger seller so it's best to save him for later...
:) Share your thoughts on the new Mastercard commercial featuring Miss Piggy.
The camera tracks through a hotel room and tallys the room service bill. Thot ends at a bed where our favorite pig weairng a towel and robe lowers her newspaper to shout at us to "watch it!"
Where's the imagination? It's a comic book character. Is it that you don't like the comic book character to begin with? From what I hear, this is more of an intelligent thriller than a typical action flick. I'm seiing it mid-week. Mostly good reviews so far except for one from the New York...
Yes, Sam is considered a main character by Palisades. You can easily figure that out using a minimal amount of deductive reasoning. Please pose these questions in the Ask Ken section or another thread. We've gone a little too off topic.
The figure release schedule is not about exact dates because there is no way Palisades can control that. That's why none are listed. It's about the order of each wave and the figures contained in each. That is uniform no matter where you are in the world. Series one is followed by series two and...
Sam is still a bit bluer than the puppet, but close. However many would like a more subtle blue. Maybe nekkid Sam but you never know what Henson is going to say. Even though Bunsen is greenish he is not that green. It's still a little cartoony and a change that I'm sure Palisades would alter if...
It's not really being fanatical. The chart of items has been listed and updated on Muppet Central for over a year. The link to it is always on the main page. You should definitely check out. We've put a lot of effort into maintaining that. http://www.muppetcentral.com/news/2003/tms_figures.shtml...
Piggy and the Swinetrek won't be out until November. She is not a part of series 4. That was changed a looooong time ago.
I can see what you mean about Sam, but he's an excellent figure and this just makes good marketing sense unless you want the line to die an early death. I don't think any of...
I agree, but I have a feeling there will be a compromise between the old and new versions like there was with Waldorf. Henson seems to want the newer look of the puppets instead of the classic look (ie Sam's brighter color, Zoot's aqua color, greener Bunsen etc). I hope that is not the case.
Mega, as briefely explained in this thread, is a figure that is double the size of Palisades Toys' regular line. Only Mega Beaker and Mega Animal have been made to date. They are about 13 inches. Some thought that since Sweetums would be so big that he would be a Mega. This is a myth never...
Funny enough, that's actually a new head scupt. There was some weird issue with their old manufacturer so they had to make a new head. I don't think Palisades has plans to tinker with the Kermit head. Henson is not interested in giving the figures expressions. :)
