Not so much "these days" for Mark Hamil. That thing was done back in 2004 (looks worse than if it was made in 1984). These days Mark's retired from the role of The Joker (though he's coming out of it for a "The Killing Joke" animated adaption, can't wait for that), he's returning as Luke...
On @Midnight, Chris referred to the Hulk Hogan internet leaked sex tape with a racist rant as "If it was an episode of Sesame Street, it would have been brought to you by the letter "N" and the numbers 6 and 9."
On another subject, I'm looking at these trailers for "Straight Outta Compton," and something doesn't sit right with me about them. In this movie Paul Giamati seems to be...I dunno... NWA's manager or lawyer or something. Whatever he is, it's a role that's supportive of the group. What kinda...
They seriously did something amazing, you guys, in last night's episode.
For the first time ever on the series...
all five members of the Hive actually had lines!
Seriously, man. All five of them spoke instead of just Lauren Tom's characters. That's amazing as freak for this show. Sure...
Anyone catch this yet?
I can't say I've had high hopes of the series due to it's strange name and odd concept. Not to mention the cryptic advertising it got up until 3 weeks or so ago. But I was very pleasantly surprised by how the show actually turned out. This series could have been pretty...
When I first saw FOP, I definitely made that connection. However, the character is based off of Eugene Levy, specifically his character from "Splash." I caught some of that movie last year and it's there. Levy's character is more nasty than obsessive, and he's constantly belittling his crew...
It's hard to say with those movies. Bucky Larson and Jack and Jill were terrible ideas to begin with, and there's no way you could make films with those premises quality by any means unless you do so with a heaping helping of irony. Maybe if they were done by John Waters is what I'm saying...
The numbers are in and Pixels couldn't even do 25 mil. They were more like 23 mil, and the weekend was (as typical for a late July weekend) pretty weak. Ant-man managed to stay on top, even though it was only 24 mil (it managed to at least hit 100 mil this weekend) and Minions continued in a...
To be honest, what constitutes as a pilot and what constitutes as a pitch are confusing. To me, this was more than a pitch, but not quite a pilot. Pitchilot?!
Exactly what I was saying, but that's why Sesame Street is so great. This show wouldn't have the same cultural impact if it just thought less of the audience and kept the human characters as ageless as the Muppet ones. Sure, does Elmo stay three and a half years old while attending the birth...
Sticks: They all laughed when I said our appliances would turn against us, but who's laughing now?
Sonic: You?
Sticks: Why would I be laughing? This isn't funny! You have a sick sense of humor.
Forgot to mention that, actually. But yeah. I can see them either having both as separate video entries (like just adding extra episodes) or just breaking down and releasing Speed Racer for fans of the Americanized one and Mach Go Go Go for the subtitle only crowd. It would be cool for them...
That Lil Buddy episode is starting to stick out in my mind for one reason.
Reed, the duck faced kid with the mole and glasses finally had some...well, I can't say dialogue, since he didn't exactly talk. But we got to hear his weird robotic crying anyway. OH! And Chalmers Santiago does indeed...
While there is going to be a new Speed Racer anime in Japan that's currently in development, this isn't the news I'm bringing.
As you may or may not know, following the disastrous run of the live action movie, Speed Racer Enterprises folded and the rights wound up reverting to it's home...
Great seeing a Chad themed episode. He's my favorite adult character on the show, and it would have been easy to turn the character into a Homer Simpson expy without any thought. The character has a lot of depth, and I really liked how in "Nothing Ventured" he kept Sumo's father's anger issues...
They started advertising it properly about 2, 3 weeks ago, mentioning the time, date and show title. That's right. They didn't even advertise the show with its title for almost 3 weeks before the premiere!
Instead, they had a cryptic #bearstack commercial (yes, there was a hashtag) where a...
While any movie can be a disappointment, I'm sure most are in agreement that this movie is the ultimate disappointment. If it was surprisingly good despite Sandler, I would have been ready, willing, and able to see this film. But it seems that the entire film was completely wasted on Adam's...
While I woke up and was not really in the mood for this series, I really liked this new episode about the Super Powers, and felt that it was a mark improvement over the other two (which were alright, but it felt like something was missing). Seems they hit on some recurring super hero parody...
Sanjay and Craig sorta did a Labyrinth parody. It was in name only, and the only thing other than the name specifically is Tufflips sorta looking like Jarreth playing with magic orbs (they're more like stressballs, actually). But that was nice of them, I guess.
