I was surprised that Gobo and Ma Gorg changed during season one. I always thought season 1 had the first Gobo for the entire season.

Looks like they just reused the MTI menus and the MCC ones too. They seemed pretty good on the MTI dvd though so I guess changing it wouldn't make much sense.

That's because the waist down on the show for the most part was never meant to be seen and probably was not thought out too much while the figures lower halves were meant to be seen and match the top half.

Why did Jim resent Alf? I think Alf is the only non-muppet puppet that is treated just like a muppet character. That is he is treated like a living character with a back story and stuff. I can't think of another puppet star like that besides maybe some kids show full body costumes.
