There is no more animation studio. It got closed down, and as the artists were finishing up Home on the Range their equipment and furniture was being sold out from under them. Disney is supposed to be going all digital in the next few years.

I haven't ever heard anything like that. It just sounds like a laugh track to me. Is the episodes you're watching dubbed over in a different language or something, or is it the usual English verisions? That might have something to do with it if it's dubbed-over. Or it could be the tv/speaker...
