The photos on the packaging are from early prototypes. Pepe (the puppet) has small pupils that resemble the figure released. :)
I was wondering what people would think about the leg weight shift. People who had trouble standing last year's tux Kermit could have been trying to...
Some people are reporting figure legs being different sizes when they are actually meant to be posed with one leg in front of the other. Could that be it?
These aren't supposed to be stiff poses. These figures are intended to have a living breathing appearance so they have slight weight...
I usually print my stuff out at Kinkos. They have a program (Illustrator) where you place the image file on a canvas and just simply print. There are people there to help you too. They do have sticky paper, but my suggestion is to mount them on posterboard (for thiickness) and use double stick...
At least Kermit kind of bit back tonight. when the name of one of the kid's skateboard tricks sounded a bit profane, Kermit said," So that's why you were booked on the show." LOL! Cute kid. His ears sticking out of his helmet cracked me up. Who lets their little kids do that kind of stuff...
I didn't catch the "retarded" reference. We are all guilty of using such terms at one time or another, but that was a poor decision. I'm guessing it was Bill. He's more on the fringe than Dave. Maybe I'm so used to hearing the terminology that it just escaped my attention. :boo:
Kermit's...
Awww. Thanks Kev. I am getting this puzzle and am jazzed that it's out there. Just seemed like sort of a missed opportunity for something greater. We all expected something 5 stars. Most non-fans probably won't notice.
I think it's a fun puzzle and a good effort, but I tend to agree with you. Seems a little cut and pasted. The characters cast no shadow and have no consistent light source. Color and contrast differences throughout the piece. Link looks almost as green as Bunsen. It is nice to see all of the...
You mean to tell me you're not sitting over there eating crumpits, drinking tea and singing God Save the Queen? You know I'm over here waving my American flag, driving my SUV and chugging Starbucks coffee. LOL!
:) There were no new surprises today, but Kermit held his own. It appears that the cut-ins of Statler and Waldorf are done off-site so who knows if Goelz and Barretta are there? We know Animal comes out tomorrow. I hope we see more Muppets and that Statler and Waldorf aren't the surprises he was...
I agree. Pre production usually takes a while even when everything is go. It doesn't seem so with this case. I have a feeling that the TV specials will air next year. Just a feeling though.
It is good that they haven't given up hope on a new Muppet film after the poor performance of MFS...
Steve and Jerry? Don't you mean Steave and Dave? Dave always does Waldorf and that was definitely him. It would be nice to see Jerry show up, but if he's not doing Statler, I doubt he will.
I'm guessing Pepe, Bunsen, Beaker, Gonzo, Rowlf, Bobo, Johnny and Rowlf are the clear possibilites to...
The revised bio was issued this year so I would say there is merit to it, but development can mean a number of things - from an idea buzzing in someone's head or assembling performers for the project. There would be more info is it was near production, but it gives me hope.
It's like they changed something about their shipping or something because they were always more competitive. I'm going to continue to use them for some things. Just spread the wealth to different figure sources.
Hmm. You're right. It's not a direct copy and paste so it appears to be more fleshed out and punched than on Henson.com. You never know how old that info is on their websites, but execs try to keep such things current. Either way it's good news.
