Why would Oz be the only place to see the Muppets? That wasn't in any of my posts. My point is that the Oz theme could be a back-story and there could be cutaway sequences to leave more time for actual Muppetness away from them playing other parts. There a million ways they can run with this. If...
I'm not wild about it, but I think it does have possibilities. The story could be cut between the real life and the Oz world that one of the cast is experiencing. That's an easy way it could take up less than half the screentime. Or, it could he the show they are performing in the theater much...
You'd actually pass on a Muppet Movie? I'd pay to see a film of Kermit eating his lunch for ten minutes, but that's just my fan side talking.
I can see a 90 minute film being made where only 30 minutes are actually spent on OZ. Did you realize that only about 12 mintues were spent in the...
I personally think it's another step backwards, but it does combine two beloved icons and was a very successful Muppet Show sketch at one time. I say go for it. I just hope that all of the projects don't turn out to be remakes. The Muppets are far to creative to do that.
Guess I'm one of those "choose your words" kind of people, but I agree on you with the eyes and that will be corrected with vacation Pepe. As I said though, a sharpie works wonders and saves the frustration of sifting through Pepes. I've used a sharpie pen on the odd figure here and there to...
That particular version could definitely be better, but it is far from terrible. There isn't anything "terrible" about any of the figures. Some may disappoint more than others and that could possibly be a more accurate assessment. Terrible is such a loaded word that I often reserve for something...
Thanks. Glad you like the work we've done on the site. Make sure to come around on holidays to check out the special menus. Also check in at Palisades' Forum for up to date news and questions about figures. We also have a very clear updated page here to help out those who don't want to sift...
Well, so far well over half of the people who voted are getting all of series seven, a quarter of them are leaving one out and 10% are getting half. A remaining (9% are either passing or buying one. Not bad in my book. The Must have in this wave is Beauregard followed by the Polly pack-in with...
Gonzo absolutely can hold his bugle. Mine has been holding it since day one and there are several examples of it over at Palisades' Forum. Took me a couple seconds, took some members with less nimble fingers a little longer. One hand cups the bugle, the other doesn't necessarily cup it, but...
I get your point, but that's taking it 20 steps further. I don't see Sesame ever having to do that. Very extreme example. Sesame would close shop or go to network before they did any of that. If McDs dropped out, another sponsor would quickly take its place. Reading Rainbow is another story.
Actually, like always you can see the comprehensive figure listings on Muppet Central right here: http://www.muppetcentral.com/news/2003/tms_figures.shtml
We've maintained this listing since before the figures were released. Might be good to bookmark it. :)
People take it for granted. Sesame Street will always find a sponsor, but others aren't as lucky. I'm not wild about McDs being their sponsor, but they are a strong backer. They're also reportedly trying to clean up their act. I don't buy it, but baby steps are better than none. With public...
I was hoping they'd hit shelves Thanksgiving weekend. That's the biggest shopping day of the year. But a week later wouldn't kill anyone. I just hope they come out at least 3 weeks before Christmas to give time for refills.
My guess is the first week of December. I could be wrong, but shipping has already been announced as late November and Palisades wants these items out for the holiday rush. Just an educated guess.
The Muppet Babies are just the glossed over story of Muppet childhood sold to the press. The real story was too shocking and inappropriate to be told. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :D Just you wait for the E True Hollywood Story. LOL!
I think Nader should put his money where his mouth is and help fund public television instead of wasting time and funds with these frivolous complaints.
As a quazi-health-nut, I admit to not liking McDonnalds. I do think they are at fault in selling junk food to America, but where are the...
