    One! One Vonderful Halloween Menu!

Awwwww. I feel warm and squishy..............time for a shower.

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

Unless fun4all guy states otherwise, we can't make the assumption that they are not allowed to make puppet likenesses. That's a rather bold assumption. Have you heard official word from Sesame Workshop? From what I gather in the posts, this was fun4all's creative choice. As an artist I...

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

To be honest, I'm just not interested in buying cartoon versions of the characters. Frankly it seems more like lack of interest in likeness than stylization. Don’t you guys want to do something different? Cover new ground? Get the proportions right? I’m yet another person who would like these to...

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

My point was that if you read the first post in this thread *they* are the ones that made the comparison - likening their figures to Palisades. I agree with a lot of what you've said. Think I stated all of that in my previous post. I've been skeptical about Palisades getting the SS license...

    Very Merry Muppet DVD Observations

It should be everywhere. I found mine at Virgin Megastore. It too forever because they placed it in the "I" section. I never thought you go by "it", "a" or "the" when alphabetizing. Weirdness. Anyway, I'm thinking that some retailers might not have displayed their Christmas videos yet. It's...

    One! One Vonderful Halloween Menu!

I just noticed the menu is up. LOL! It is the same as last year. I was planning to add a few extra bits, but didn't have the time. I made nearly 50 menus last year and won't be making all-new menus to replace them. These menus are only up for five days. They are like Christmas ornaments on a...

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

I agree that these are prototypes and should be received as such, however none of the Palisades prototypes I have seen have been this static PVC-looking. We know in Ken's hands, Oscar would be a full-bodied figure and Cookie Monster would not have a treat sculpted in his hand. These appear to...

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

These aren't bad at all, but they are the usual cartoon representations we are used to seeing. It is heresy to even mention these and Palisades in the same breath. I didn't see any layers etc and they have the usual swivel articulation. Palisades wouldn't sculpt Oscar inside his can and stick...

Oooh! I love slimey. He's so cute. Thanks for the heads up. Wish I could see these pics. :grouchy:

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

I'll probably pick up Oscar and a few of them if they look very good, but being that I'm primarily a Muppet Show fan these would have to be stunning. I'm disappointed that Palisades didn't get the license. I've yet to see anything that matches the quality. Hope these turn out great. Will...

Fraggle Rock on "I Love the 80's Strikes Back"

Awww. I enjoy QAF and the actors. Sparks is funny and has been equally irreverent to every bit of pop culture they discuss on the 80s program. That's really what the show is all about in the first place. The Muppets have always had a sense of humor about themselves and I don't see that any line...

    My Rizzo Has No Nose!

You have to report issues when they occur. A figure falling off the shelf wouln't likely warrant a replacement piece from Palisades, but there's no harm in trying. They're friendly people. On the same note, I don't think they'll replace a list of figures a member has had difficulty with months...

Do you want another Piggy action figure?

I really would like to see a new standard glamour Piggy. Maybe it could be sold as an exclusive. I just like the idea. However, an MFS Piggy in the purple outfit would be cool too. :)

Rumor: The Muppet Wizard of Oz

Yeah, I agree, but if the rumor is true then it is already in this phase of production then we should accept it and look on the bright side rather than complain about it. That's not going to do any good. I've made it known before that I don't favor the retelling of classic stories in the first...

Rumor: The Muppet Wizard of Oz

I have mixed feelings about this project possibility, but we all must remember that it would probably be a Muppet parody, not a remake. Every fan loved the Oz and Wonderland skits they did in the Muppet Show days. There's a beautiful landscape to explore in Oz. They'd irreverantly tear the story...

    New movies coming out...

Most critics are calling it a paint-by-number suspense film not worthy of the actors, but I have yet to hear anything truly bad. I'm seeing it soon.

    Palisades Series 7 Official Line-up

There's always a repainted character in every case. In this situation they thought - why not make them all repaints? Works for me and it sells more units. One is technically a resculpt of the collar too. Also, the album, stool and microphone will be different in each pack.

    Garfield Movie Update

http://www.garfieldmovie.com/home.html Their site is now online, but doesn't have much content yet. You can catch a glimpse of how the new CG Garfield will look on the main page. Looks like a good compromise (unlike Scooby Doo). The film has some major voice talent too. Check out the lineup...

Your Feedback: Season 2 Muppet Show Guides

dwmckim I've just begun to read the wonderful guides you've written. I kind of like to savor each perfectly written page. Thank you so much for this great comprehensive work. New movies coming out...

I enjoyed the first Matrix film, but found the sequel to be pointless and a bit boring even though they threw around a lot of special fx. The previews for Revolutions don't thrill me that much. They honestly look like more of the same. I kind of wish they hadn't continued after the first film...
