I was on the fence about posting that, but that cartoon has the same level of movement and same disregard for what real objects look like in real life. I mean, I had to rewatch that segment twice just to make sure the opening cartoon was about lighters. It looked like surreal object saving...
And this is why I'm sick of defending anything.
Just...just stop watching. Watch the Flash. Everyone that hates this show because it's incredibly offensive somehow, just watch the Flash. Or your old VHS's. Just stop looking for crap to complain about. Chances are no matter what they do...
I wasn't going to bother replying anything in this thread, but this just stuck in my craw.
Do you really think if this show isn't successful, as well as the last movie not being one, Disney's going to keep making Muppet projects when they have far more successful properties to milk cash out of...
Funny thing is, while I always loved Cow and Chicken, there's just something about I Am Weasel I liked a tiny bit more. I'd see why David would prefer C&C over IMW, as the original series was siblings trying to get along with each other, only making it as bizarre as possible with deranged...
There's a music cue that I only found used twice, but even then it's used way too much because...well...
It was first used in an Arby's commercial
And it's probably heavily associated with it as a result.
Now... why is it overused?
Well, Fox had the brilliant idea to use the same song cue...
I find that funny because that's pretty much how Hi Hi Puffi Ami Yumi show happened, as well as them doing the Teen Titans theme song. Only, they were smart. They made it a cartoon with the girls as hosts and subtitled it. So apparently 2000 era kids were willing to read when 1980 adults...
The funny thing is, Velma's new voice actress, Kate Miccuci (SP? The Garfunkle and Oats girl who was in Raising Hope as well as the voice of Sadie in Steven Universe) seems to be an official recast. If you're looking for another example of her as Velma, they had a series of shorts to promote...
You know what I'm referring to...
Well, I was looking at an Oddity Archive episode and at the beginning (3:16 to be exact) and I saw something pretty familiar looking.
Now, I don't know if it's indeed the same guy, the similarities are stark. The fluidity of the movements, the bizarreness...
I hear conflicting things about the creator actually liking Grimm better and focusing on that. Personally, I didn't like Evil as much as Grimm, but then again, I'd think that if the thing continued, it would have been a more solid show.
Plus, if there's one thing I really like about Grimm...
Then again, while I'm not a huge fan of 90's Spidey (maybe I watched the wrong episodes, but I had issue with the pacing), at least it didn't become as completely deranged as the 60's one. I saw the one that was banned from being shown back in the day on YT. Lemme tell yah. It deserved to be...
And they still couldn't let him eat bugs onscreen.
If there's another Saturday Morning decade that I think needs a shout out, it's the 60's. That's the decade where there were only 3 channels and they went in fighting. We had super hero cartoons where said super heroes punched guys out (this...
It's a shame no one really gets Larry and his lot in the Stooges. Now that I think about it, the Stooges did have some subtly in their non-eye poke and head bonking gags that somehow elude most parodies. Sure, I find the cartoonish physical violence funny, but I really like their underrated...
You know. In an act of desperation because the cereals arrived later than last year, I bought the Boo Berry Fruit by the Foot. I was disappointed it wasn't blueberry flavored, but rather the kid's junk food staple "Berry Blue" which is, supposed to be raspberry flavored, but isn't quite.
I feel the 00's before.. well...you know, and I'm not going to put a long and winding rant about it had some decent stuff as well. Jackie Chan Adventures, everyone's favorite version of Spider-Man... stuff like that.
If there's one period I think is underrated in terms of Saturday Mornings...
Pan, simply put, looks like crap. And not the cheaply farted out kind of crap either. The "Look at how much of an artist I am" crap that comes out as a busy, expensive, overdramatic joke. Everything I hear about the film sounds dreadful. Neverland is where time collides? Really!? I get...
Don't see why Walter hasn't made an appearance yet. You'd think he'd be the intern. Peter Linz is credited in the opening. It's the one Muppet who has yet to make an appearance that I'm actually questioning.
As for a story line, well, in a general sense I'd love to see them take a cue from...
Since The New Scooby-Doo Movies is on Boomerang, I caught the Stooges episodes. Now, the Curly in question is Curly Joe, and (what sounds like) Daws Butler does an alright job and everything, but I can't help get confused that he left a couple "Nyuk Nyuks" in there. I'm sure I never heard...
Nope. But it was a Disney movie, and considering Disney's other CGI output independent of Pixar was inconsistent at the time, Wreck-it Ralph offered a deeper, sweeter, more involved movie than Pixar's Brave. Not that Brave doesn't have it's fans, but WIR has a deeper cult following, and...
