There's something to be said about the smaller local stores with the more arrogant music/film "experts". At least they know what they're talking about even if they do act like it's a pain to help you out. LOL!
Edited CDs? Terrible. Those should always be marked. If they're going to put...
*Picks up the torches*
If Scooter goes through the forum recommended changes, I think he'll be a very strong figure. So spiffy in that little outfit too. ;)
I will be getting Oscar no matter what. Unfortunately I will likely pass on Bert and Ernie (my other FAVORITES) unless they give them more realistic proportions. I'll probably pass on the others in wave one too. I do hope that series 2 shapes up better. If they play their cards right I just...
I can't believe that one member is passing on standard Sam. It takes all kinds I guess. I have a feeling that these will fly off the shelves once the images are shown. ;)
Poll is also incomplete because no playset has been anounced. I thought there would be one for 8.
There are plans for 3-5, but these aren't some cheapy TV Tome guides. They take time. It likely takes a few days for each ep. They can't include *every* detail but I think the levels are just right.
We’re not supposed to he honest? Ken was grilled a lot more when he first entered MC. Lets face it; these are middle of the road representations. They are not remarkable in any way. Cute, but nothing new. They began the Palisades comparison - trying to get mileage out of the accomplishments of...
Lets face it, these aren't terrible. They are C-grade, run of the mill figures. I'm not that impressed, but I'm not shocked at the quality either. I am disappointed that the licensor came over for a dialogue and disappeared when members asked questions and made suggestions. I hope he returns to...
I haven't heard official word of this so don't quote me, but wouldn't Marvin's ruffled sleeves conceal a ball joint?
I like this lineup. It's very interesting. Shakes things up. I have a feeling some will find it not as strong, others will say - "another Scooter" but I think it's fantastic...
These guides have been known to be notoriously bad. Sometimes they are cool though. When you see keychain images and the drawings that appear on mugs etc, these are usually style guide images. Sometimes they are quite cute, but should never replace a puppet likeness when presented with a choice.
Newsflash
Ken just announced the series 8 lineup
Sam the Eagle :attitude:, Movie Usher Scooter ;), Dr. Phil Van Neuter, Marvin Suggs, and an improved exclusive Animal :halo: in his standard outfit with bongo drums (placement yet to be determined). There was no mention of a playset, but...
Fozzie has to play the lion. He's got the look and personality. It just works for him. The others I don't care much about, but Fozzie is just perfect casting.
I hope this criticism is being taken being honest and open. Some tempers are getting hot and it's important to remember we all have our opinions. Debates are perfectly fine, but nobody needs to change anyone else’s mind. If you want these figures - go buy them. If you think they can do better -...
I agree. I know these should be child friendly and I'm willing to see some rigid articulation, but the likeness has nothing to do with being kid-friendly. I'd try negotiating with SW.
Still no reply about Oscar's trash can. :grouchy: :zany:
I'd still try to sway them into making these more like the puppets. You bought the license for a heck-of-a-lot-a money. You deserve to make what you want as long as they resemble the source material and are in the spirit of the characters. Just not digging the style. If the Muppet line came out...
