I see it's in Matleo's list, but I don't remember Ken ever saying that. I have found that many of these update lists are incorrect so I usually go straight for the source and army builder has only been used with Tux Gonzo and series 10 from what I remember.
I think things have gotten kind of confused here. I don't remember an army builder listed for series nine. I remember a Sal buddy-pack listed for series 10 and Tux Gonzo will come with Bernice the Chicken sometime between series seven and nine. Maybe that's what you're thinking. I could be wrong...
I agree. Incidentally, if anyone feels Piggy's hair is too dark, there's an easy way to fix that. Crack out the acrylic paints, mix a good shade of brown, yellow and white, mix a good amount of water with it and genlty brush it over the hair. It's best to test it in a small patch first. I used...
Every licensor receives a style guide from the company. They are notoriously bad. Palisades received one, but they to be taken with a grain of salt. The intention is not to copy them, but allow it to influence the spirit of the product. Palisades is the perfect example because they use the style...
Personally, I really want to see Seymour somewhere, but it doesn't appear that he fits the criteria. It would be really cool as a CC exclusive with a Pepe pack-in and the box could look like an elevator. I know that breaks all sorts of rules.
Pops is high on my list. So is Rowlf. Wanna see...
I'd still like to see him taller, with a proportioned head, different eye focus, more stripes on his shirt. legs that aren't so stubby that have room for knees and longer arms. Still looks like slightly taller cartoon now. This is kind of what I mean. To make the figure that I'd like to...
I'd like to see slightly annoyed Bert. That's how he appears to be most of the time. :( I'd also like to see some wrinkles in the clothing. I'm sure that wouldn't make the figures less kid frinedly. Those are the details that impress me. They aren't wearing rubberized suits, they're wearing...
A little scale/likeness comparison
Nothing about these resemble the look of the puppets. I really don't understand adding texture to a cartoon likeness. I'm still hoping they change their strategy. Here's a little mock up I made. A side by side comparison of my favorite SS duo and their toy...
Of course Marvin Suggs is coming with his six Muppephones (that is a show accurate number). Sam will have an improved likeness. That doesn't mean that it will be an entirely new head sculpt, but it doesnt mean the head will be identical either. We'll just have to wait and see.
The Happiness Hotel Bus was never on the block as a viable option. It's too big and there are copyright issues with the design. That was never something that was going to come out. Nonetheless, if you wait a while the characters you want will probably be released. They can't just release...
Be patient. Most of those have been mentioned on Ken's radar. We know Sal and Sweetums are in progress, we know that they intend to release a regular Robin, Rowlf and the Vet's Hospital characters eventually. He has also expressed interest in Pops and Lips. It's a waiting game. They can't just...
