I really don't like using the word "ex'es" myself...heck I'm not even clear what is considered boyfriend-girlfriend/official relationship situations versus fling/dating/"seeing"/etc.
Well the Muppets transcend national boundary, as evidenced in The World According to Sesame Street and When...
Anyone have a pic of the Pepe plush? It's curious how that sold out...but Kermit, Piggy, etc didnt. Get the message yet Disney? People overall want Muppet merch, but I have come to the conclusion that Disney probably won't be obliging much. Btw anyone know when the Star Wars figures come out?
As a longtime 9/11 truther, anti war activist, and critic of American and Western foreign policy(as well as corporate corruption, and generally anti nwo) it's good to see others who get it. I just kind of stopped following politics, and rarely even engage in talking about this sort of stuff with...
I was a talking heads fan when I was a kid in the 80's, tho admittedly I was already 18 when Muppets Tonight first aired. They also spoofed Devo, Nine Inch Nails, Sex Pistols, etc on that show. Not to mention the REM/Sesame Monsters duo. Heck I think House of Mouse in the 90's even spoofed...
Just as it's been widely known that parents shouldn't be stuffing their Walmart carts full of high fructose corn fast food garbage and sodas to feed their kids every day, new reports strong suggest young toddlers and babies should be playing and have their imagination fostered...not sat in front...
Best Muppet video game ever! I had no computer in 1996, but in the early 2000's I tracked down a new boxed version on ebay and got it to run on my windows xp at the time. AMAZING box, amazing book that comes with it. Amazing game. To me 1995-1999 is a very special time for me as a Muppet fan...
Well James is right, those Muppet puppets are pretty cool. It's just Disney is the king of merch saturation so it's weird we aren't seeing anything yet. I have a feeling most the merch will be exclusive to Disney parks, and that's a shame. Anyone know when the Star Wars spoof figures come out...
Oh I have no shame. I perform in a band, want to do standup, loving creating crazy outfits and vintage shopping. Here's candid, me at a dance club last weekend...Im actually totally sober here
Ha, I wonder what other cast people got Muppets in their likeness. I always get a kick out of seeing Muppet likenesses of celebrities or crew on Sesame, Muppets, etc. (Loved the Muppets Take Over Today sketches) It's too bad Fiama and Sal couldn't be in the new film.
Yeah the 2002-2004 period for TMS/Fraggle merch was amazing, just like 1999-2001 for Bear merch.
I don't buy the notion we should be happy with no merchandise. A lot of people probably don't even realize there's even a new Muppet movie coming out. Maybe because I don't have tv, but you go to...
Have to disagree with you there. That is nothing in my book. This is a Disney tentpoll film, it deserves to have the deluge of merch we come to expect: plushes, toys, you name it. It's like oh boy, a few cheap keychains at walmart, vinylmations which have already been out, and some kids...
Ha, ok yeah youre right TMM had some bizarre moments. But then you have the realism of even the church scenes. TMTM was definitely more rooted in muted reality, which I like. Man even in the 90's I HATED the classic retelling stuff.
Simply commenting on the tone of the two trailers. It doesn't look at all like a classic Muppet film, which isn't bad. Super 8 tried to ape the old Spielberg feel and to me failed in the overall execution.
