The problem with that reel (I didn't see the special, I don't know how much more they divulged if any that wasn't already online) is that it was pretty much bound to entertain no one. Woody's a jerk, Buzz is a jerk, all the toys are jerks. Who were we supposed to root for? And the "edgy"...
I don't believe that. I've seen shows that stayed on PBS years after they had any new episodes. Clifford was on my station at least 4 or 5 years after the episodes ran out. And it got them back again after a brief period where they weren't on. And while the half hour episodes made out of full...
While I do doubt that, PBS stations can vary in what they air for kid's programming, and some cases when you have a lot of PBS stations that air kids shows (like my area) they tend to air certain things that wouldn't be seen in most other areas.
In my case, I was hoping the shorter half hour...
Strangely, Ovejita was still on the Thanksgiving Day parade float. No Murray, not even by a different puppeteer, but she was still there.
Makes me wonder if they just grabbed a bunch of available puppets before the parade (since certain popular characters were missing), or they plan to keep...
So, the trailer for the next movie has been released.

Have to admit, I have a very cautious level of excitement right now. I kinda like how Bebop and Rocksteady look...
Here's something.
Apparently by sheer coincidence, A Charlie Brown Christmas debuted the year Aluminum Christmas Trees were falling out of favor, so much so that it's an urban legend that the special was the death of the fad. But again, pure coincidence.
Depends on the store and depends on the product. Some things seem really over ordered, some things are surprisingly scarce, but overall, it looks like part of that reason is because everyone's buying them up. I absolutely hate how bad condition candy canes usually get by the time I get them...
While Purple M&M's are a thing, they're only found in either seasonal selections or those candy shops that have the Mix and Match by the pound dealies. I have no idea what happened to the purple M&M. It just...vanished. Probably didn't think the added color (that they've sold anyway) was...
While Christmas is pretty darn close, already the candy canes in stores are dwindling and choc full of broken, bashed in packaging. That's something I don't see until a week to the date.
Plus, I'm kinda disappointed how slim the variety is. Seems that they all under ordered these things this...
SNL goes through those big valleys and hills based on the writers and cast. My problem with sketch shows is that sometimes they have great recurring characters and then flat out awful ones (cough cough Girlfriend's Talk show). If "It's Pat" is the best recurring skit you've got and it's that...
I really like shows where the biggest idiot or goofiest one in the series is actually the smart one and or has sudden bursts of brilliance. They really showcase that best in those episodes. And when some kid winds up messing with him, he uses those same powers to put them in their place. I...
You know who had a healthcare plan? Richard Nixon. It's so shocking. The right has gone that far to the right that even the Dems aren't as liberal as Nixon. Heck, Watergate's like a normal Tuesday to a politician now. In retrospect, Nixon wasn't a bad guy, and I hate saying that.
Of...
I love how the grandmother has an obsession with Garfield. And that's a nice little touch because the character is humongously popular in Chinese countries. I mean, the second live action movie was a hit over there. That alone speaks volumes of love. Cuz I saw part of it Thanksgiving...
I certainly haven't seen it nor have the strong desire to. I have the feeling that this thing was made because Ackroyd wanted the characters back in the public eye. I can't call it a cynical move, but at worst it sounds like his heart was in the right place, but nothing else was in terms of...
Yeah. I mean, you look at the Spaghetti Western episode, and it's barely got hints of UG humor. Just the bit where they drop the safe on him so the bird floating above his head can crack the safe. Seems like other than that, you could just change around the names and it would work with any...
While I am certainly not going to pick on anyone's beliefs, I'll say this much. The Republican Party (on the level of politicians) has been absolutely disgusting these past 8 years. There's a difference between being a political opponent and wanting to sabotage the country to blame someone so...
Hey. Blues Brothers 2000 was probably more respectful and better advised than the Blues Brothers video game.
All I can say to that one is "ugh!" Even the Wayne's World game was less stupid. And brother, that was stupid as heck.
Have to admit, I've seen some student films here and there, but...
I find TTG to be the worst show on the network. Well, until they added Baby Looney Tunes to their line up...I mean, why? UG doesn't come from a mean spirited trolly place. TTG is pure trolling, and somehow I find that to be one of the enjoyable aspects. With Adventure Time and Steven Universe...
It's hilarious. If Pixar makes a movie that doesn't fire on every emotion, everyone snaps at them for not doing so (cough cough Cars 2). But if they do, some 3 year old is going to be screaming his or her head off. I had some little brat asking loud questions through out the whole dang movie...
Indeed this wasn't just one of the best episodes of the series, it's also the best Christmas thing the Muppets have done in a while. At first, I was a little, not so much concerned but kinda skeptical about them doing a holiday themed episode. But they managed to keep the show's continuity and...
