I can see why would see some sort of vague resemblance, but the only things between HTTYD and Braver that share a common theme is a couple characters in HTTYD with Scottish accents (because Scandinavians) and Craig Fergeson. The films are completely different otherwise.
Riff. All I know is that she's voice by the same woman who would later go on to play Amethyst in Steven Universe. A complete uptick in her career, no doubt.
I wouldn't see how an animated Barney would work or stick out. Yet, and I said this years ago with Oogieloves, the big puppet suit...
Between the Lions seems to be an underrated series. It's not as well known as it should be. While it was headed up by former Sesame Street staff members, I don't think that was enough to give it the same mainstream recognition as most PBS shows. Especially ones that aren't really that good...
Now that I think about it, I think they wasted the potential to broadcast the 20th anniversary Toy Story and respective TV special as Wonderful World of Disney. Seems there's not much they'd have to do to resurrect the brand, even if it's just a blanket title for broadcast movie premieres...
While I do agree that Inside Out was a return to form, I really think that the "slump" movies get more hate than they deserve.
Cars 2:
Make no mistake. This film was for the very young and their parents who are into automotive trivia and racing. While the story was straight out of a Saturday...
I also like the window blinds shade running gag on Pizzazz, especially when there isn't a window in sight. Something about it reminds me of Bobobo-bo Bo-Bobo. And Chrysalis is the equivalent of Beauty in that case. Even Pizzazz isn't above it all. Just surrounded by different nuts, Chrysalis...
I'd say AFV is for old people who are afraid of the internet, but even they spam e-mail their families terrible YT videos.
Really stinks that WWOD essentially turned into The Wonderful World of Harry Potter Movies like Twice a Year. I can't see them putting this on Sundays because the big draw...
Tooncrap has gotten a hand on one of my biggest Holiday thorns in the side, Frosty Returns.
Though there's more things I'd attack in the special, I'm glad to know this isn't exactly well liked a Christmas tradition CBS kept putting away with. I could list for hours what was wrong with this...
I'd figure that if they were to do a Flintstones project, they'd get Jeff Bergman as Fred. He seems to be their official voice recast, with James Arnold Taylor only doing the cereal commercials (back when they were actually in them).
If it's true about these animated movies going forward, that...
Whatever he is, I doubt it's happening. And I doubt they'd put Sylvester or Daffy Duck in it. Given the (for lack of a better term) "quality" of the Daffy vs. Speedy cartoons, I'd rather not have the constantly angry and unfunny version of one of my favorite characters in there.
Side note...
Bad timing. Like I said. Disney would have been wise to let this wait, but I don't know where it would have fit on the schedule. Plus, they wanted that "same date Toy Story was released" tie in. Thanksgiving Weekend really isn't a great release date for movies, as the films need to make all...
I tend to find Moonbeam City the 1980's white cop show equivalent of Black Dynamite. Considering that Titmouse was behind the first season of BD as well as this series.
There's a lot I really liked about this series, but if there's one thing I can narrow it down to, it's the artwork. The...
That's why I feel these kinds of list based articles are just clumsily constructed click-bait. There's no research and they just pull whatever TV shows they personally have seen out of their butts and add one legacy title because they feel they have to.
Now that you mention it, it really feels like a Family Guy cutscene upon another viewing, especially with Slinky's temp voice. In retrospect I guess you could call this pretty funny. Just still horrifying this could have happened. It's like... it's like Allen Gregory. Every character's a...
Yep. Shadow Hunters is The Mortal Instruments.
And Mortal Instruments was another one of those deals where the author took a fan fic and crossed out the names to make "original characters." Woman that wrote it looks like a caricature of what someone would draw a bad Fan Fic-er. It was a...
The only characters in Looney Tunes Show I didn't care much for their change was Gossamer and the Witch, but even then they grew on me in time.
Updated or revamped, I'm skeptical anything's going on with this. Remember the Bugs Bunny live action film done in the spirit of the Yogi Bear movie...
Okay, at the risk of bumping a 3 year old thread, get ready for this.
A Speedy Gonzales movie has been greenlit
Now, the flood of "they're going to screw this up" and "Looney Tunes can't really carry a movie" talk is going to come up. All I can say is, if every other LT film that isn't Space...
I can't believe that even giving it a 45 minute time slot, they had to edit the thing down. And they used a really terrible print of the special as well. I agree. I'm glad that this thing aired and FR may have been exposed to another generation without Hulu plus subscriptions, but really...
Without any announcement online, Steven Universe Funko Pops materialized in Hot Topic stores (I like how they've been catering to the adult cartoon fan instead of just the goths they started out wit lately). Obviously, just of the three main Gems and Steven so far. They look surprisingly...
