True, but unfortunately its not. But if we want a shot at one in the future we need all the support we can get for this project. Sadly we are already below the average sign ups per day that we needto hit goal.
I would recommend spreading the word to non muppet sights that deal in doll...
Yes, this is not an announcement of a product is already guaranteed to be made, this is a product that only gets made if it gets preorders.
If you think you want it order it. If you get it and decide you didnt want it, I am sure there will be people that will buy it from you at inflated...
The good thing is that Hasbro is a bigger name that will get press for this and frankly Sesame Street now is much bigger than the Muppets were when the replicas came out. Also, this looks a lot better.
That is true. The size factor alone, plus the addition of Super Grover stuff? This would already be backed. Apparently they consulted with the folks at Tough Pigs so we can all blame them.
I agree. He is smaller and would be easier to find a place to display him. However, with Haslab, if the test works they may go on to make more of these. I don't see why they wouldn't as they are funded upfront, before production, so they are already paid for. To me this is not an either or...
If it garners the support it needs, or better yet way more than the 3000 they need, then I think we will see more. Grover, Bert, Ernie, Elmo, maybe Oscar, though I think the trash can may pose a problem... unless they make the trash can the packaging...
But I think we will only see more if...
As I see it, even if you think you want this, you should get this because one of two things will happen.
1. Either the crowd funding fails
2. the crowd funding succeeds and after market prices sky rocket, making those that missed out due to fence sitting pay through the nose or simply miss...
Not what I expected from Hasbro, but only 299? That's not bad actually. I wonder if they will make more if this works out. Cookie isnt my favorite, Id rather Bert and Ernie or Oscar, but dang that looks pretty good. I have no idea where I would put it....
This year has been killer on my...
Movies have gotten pretty predictable so I don't bother going to theaters, but I do spoil the endings for myself online and see enough clips to get the basic idea of a movie.
More white people than black people are killed by cops each year. The number is almost double. I think the actual stats matter here, more so than how one feels.
The number of fake hate crimes went up when Trump was elected. Why? Because people needed to prove that reality reflected how they...
De Blasio using his son to continue racial division is terrible. When actual facts show one thing, how hisson feels does not matter. Again, democrats thinking how one feels means more than reality.
I can see a new series of TS movies. But not a TS5. Like, maybe Toy Story is the main title but instead of a numbered series they use sub titles and start an anthology series. It worked great for star wars.... oh wait....
That article was nothing but click bait. There was zero substance.
From a story perspective, Woody's story seems done. TS3 was the end of the Andy era of his life. He and the gang started a new with Bonnie, but Woody kind of lost his role as leader over the years. So, he basically retired...
Since the thread says spoilers I wont use the tag, but just know there are spoilers for the ending in this post.
I admit I did not see the movie yet, but I did see the ending. It seems like it goes against the spirit of the previous movies. Woody has always lived by the belief that a toy is...
