Hello Brother Krazedmuppet.
Nice to be able to say hello to a fellow Catholic. I love being a Catholic. I have found my final home group. But naturally I see all peoples as special through the eyes of the Lord
Oh wouldn't Cookie have really been upset if kids had started eating those piles of cookies. He would have been twice as relieved or more when he found out he was only imagining things I bet if that had been the case.
It's so very nice to meet you all. I used to go to a Lutheran school at one time when I was a kid. And in fact I actually grew up as a Presbyterian. I've had a few samplings of different Christian faiths but I'm now settled into the Catholic Church. I enjoy helping out from time to time with...
Okay so I'm wrong. But I think I must be confusing the actual skit with an old Sesame kids book version of the skit where I'm sure Grover did snatch the wand saying "Maybe Grover could do a little trick. Let Grover try."
I have recollections of some whatnot audience members getting concerned...
That makes sense. Sesame Street often did such simple mathematics as adding or subtracting one number at a time in many of its skits.
I can easily picture when the first two have gone the others saying quietly to each other:"Go get him but watch your step." "Don't worry.I'll pounce very quickly...
Those of you who have read my profile will know I'm a Catholic Church person.
I trust nobody will hold that against me:p :halo:
If any other forum members belong to a Christian Church of any kind, I'm not biased, please feel free to post in this thread so I can say "Hello and may the Lord bless...
Incidentally I've been recently wondering who had the idea for this excellent sequence? I heard once that the late John Denver had quite a unique sense of humour and the thought has occurred to me that The Happy Wanderer may have been his own personal suggestion to the Muppeteers.
Can anyone...
;) Marvellous Princeton. My favourite part is Wayne and Wanda. I must say I'm glad you took Gorgon Heap's advice to change the song to Climb Every Mountain although I think I know what you were probably thinking when you wrote your first draft. For the song I am a Rock I could see visions of...
I suppose since Sesame Street is designed in essence as a preschool children's show jokes were designed in situations so silly that would tend to appear to juvenile's sense of humour. Preschool kids would never stop to question the irrationality of these things we adults pick up.
Of course this...
I think David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson could have been excellent as a double guest appearance on Muppets Tonight.
They could have had sketches on the episode in tribute to their roles on X-files as Mulder and Scully plus many weird unexplainable incidents happening within the television...
I can remember a sketch in which Grover was watching Mumford make four or five pineapples disappear one by one. At the end Grover snatched Mumford's wand off him because he wanted to try doing a trick himself. Mumford protested but Grover cried out the traditional Peanut Butter Sandwich Magic...
This is starting to sound very funny. If the words of the script can't be found could someone please at least tell me in detail what happens during the part where he confronts the four dragons?
Since nobody has of yet responded to this question I asked later on within my previous thread about Songs done by the pigs on the show I thought I'd post it on its own.
Do any of you remember the time when they performed this favourite song of mine on the John Denver episode and what did you...
