Sometimes Kathy it takes sad things like this to patch up friendships. Give her the support she needs and maybe she will realize in her sorrow and your comfort that she did you wrong before and mellow out. I will say a prayer for you both.
I'm looking forward to the next one Gorgon. Congrats to you and Princeton on this outline. Shaky Sanchez was a comedy character who was remarkably used throughout the whole thing.
Perhaps the sketch I liked the best was the one where Sid played the psychiatrist and paid off those three monsters...
Ah yes skits like this were probably the closest Sesame Street ever came to what we would call dark humour.
Well as dark as could be allowed for a children's show.:p
I loved the candy man number and the end with Beaker turned into a giant candy bar taken by Sweetums:D
The Newsman sketch is priceless. Funny how the description of danger attraction always just so happens to fit that poor fall guy to the bill:smirk:
I must make special mention of this part...
Yes I know that some other monsters made occasional appearances on MT but none of them had a major starring role like big mean Carl.
Mulch is a teeny bit debatable. I'd never personally thought of him as a monster rather as a deformed human character. Then again in his TMS appearance you could...
Well would you believe I was taking a shower at the gym after my workout today thinking about my outline when this Wayne and Wanda idea hit me. Listen to this:
SAM:Ladies and gentlemen. I am so very pleased to present a real treat for you tonight. My two favourite singers Wayne and Wanda are...
Steve rully (first time I've said it like Janice) rully has an easy task of following Richard's performance of Beaker. After all surely anybody could make the appropriate meemeemeep sound;)
But I agree with Snowthy. His presence among the muppets in general will naturally be sorely missed and...
Ed Wynn was excellent as Uncle Albert in Mary Poppins and I just love the reference to his role in Bunsen's invention that creates the "floating happy effect" for the rendition of the song I love to laugh.:)
The panel discussion is wonderful. Nice to see Miss Piggy not in it, she was already...
I think if my memory serves me right that Richard was the voice of Junior Gorg in Fraggle Rock. And I'm positive that he was the voice of Janice. I'm not an expert on his characters but he was certainly an integral member of the team.
I think he also performed regularly alongside Jim as the...
I think I would agree about that certainly. From the portions of MT that I've seen Carl appeared to be more or less the only significant monster cast member.
Just for the record I have now found out that John himself had nothing to do with the writing of the Pigs in the Alps sketch. I still don't know with any certainty whose idea it was but I've heard that it was probably either Jerry Juhl(may he rest in peace) or Chris Langham.
I agree with Phillip Dave that this is one of the most intriguing of your outlines and I for one would think it an excellent choice for expansion to a script.
The part that makes me wonder the most is the Vet's Hospital sketch.
Since there are two patients who are eaten one after the other how...
Actually the thought of Big Mama trying to eat Lee opens up the way for some very funny sequences to my mind Gorgon.
Remember in the episode starring John Cleese where we saw Big Mama eat a brown shoe while hearing some very faint screams implying that Mama had just eaten Cleese's agent?
Well...
