    Muppets.com relaunches with Disney XD

I may disagree with your opinion or find it a bit cutting at times, but I do like to hear your thoughts. On the other hand I don't think the majority is accepting everything. I suppose the Muppets.com clips are like them just messing around to me. I'm not taking character development too...

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

Batman Gotham Knight comes out today. The Blu-ray is shipping as we speak! It's 6 interlocking stories by 6 different artists and styles to form one movie. Evidently it's rather dark. Kind of a Batman Animatrix. I'm stoked. We'll see soon. :)

Thanks for that. Now somebody hire him as a full-time Scooter!

    Muppets.com relaunches with Disney XD

Good point. I find it amusing how the Henson Hour and Muppets Tonight mostly shelved the classic Mayhem when they are recognized and beloved by so many people. It's a long-running mistake that seems to have been noticed by those involved in current projects. Thank goodness! One thing that...

What was the last thing you bought on eBay and why

I'm a bad influence. I found the majority of them blindboxed four-at-a-time purchase limit from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Jim-Hensons-City-Critters-Assortment/dp/B0018A813O/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=miscellaneous&qid=1215503116&sr=8-1 but after many purchases received four duplicates...

    Muppets.com relaunches with Disney XD

I won't jump the gun on Kermit's performance here, but I will say that Fozzie is always ON these days. He's a hard act to compete with now. This is what was always missing in the Oz dubbed performances. It's almost like having a young Frank Oz back with 200% energy! :o As far as Steve's...

What was the last thing you bought on eBay and why

I found the last remaining Jim Henson City Critter to add to my collection. Since they were blind boxed it made things difficult. It's this one: http://www.fugitivetoys.com/files/products/thumbs/thumb_city-critters-02.jpg Of this assortment...

    MuppetVille

http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Muppetville.gif You know I never knew the history of this plan. I wish Disney would create more of a Muppet section for their parks, but they're having enough financial woes these days. Does anyone know more particulars about MuppetVille?

The second DTV Garfield Movie is revealed

U.S. Acres (known as Orson's Farm outside the United States) is a comic strip that ran from 1986 to 1989 created by Jim Davis. The comic was launched on March 3, 1986 in a then-unprecedented 505 newspapers by United Feature Syndicate. At the peak of the comic's popularity, there were...

Muppets to appear in Disney Channel TV special

This sort of special will guide a younger audience to check out the Muppet Movie once they see the girl from Hannah Montana skillfully lip-syncing her performance with them. Even though this project is a good thing, it is my hope that all the tween star cameos are soaked up for this special so...

Muppets to appear in Disney Channel TV special

Crazy Tasty! I think it's been long confirmed we're all fairly crazy! :attitude: I'm glad for it because forums on statistics and corporate earnings do not hold interest for me. ;) That sort of thing would make me truly crazy.

Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

I saw it when it first aired on HBO and know the Fraggles well so that wouldn't be a factor. The show used to be a rare treat for me to see at friends and family members cable households. I still have the old tin lunchbox and the old (loved to stitches) original dolls purchased at Muppet Stuff...

Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

:smirk: I hate to admit this, but I can't gobble up back-to-back Fraggle Rock episodes like I can do with The Muppet Show and other programs. Don't get me wrong - I love me some Fraggles! Very much so! I just feel that stretching a Fraggle story over 90 minutes will require some changes in...

The second DTV Garfield Movie is revealed

I used to read the US Acres comic books as a kid, but didn't seem to think it translated well to television. I always felt they needed more Garfield and less Friends. He he. Plus, I generally liked the Garfield specials much better than the program. I wouldn't be opposed to the merging or...

    Um, it's Disney not JHC

What I find amusing is that when Disney didn't own the Muppet gang most everyone thought they did. Now when they actually own the Muppets they are considered a property of the Jim Henson Company. I have never found it confusing. :o Disney: The Muppets, Muppet Babies, Bear in the Big Blue...

The wait for Spring 2009 starts here

I'm just thinking that size of the character isn't an issue when it comes to accurate design reproduction. I'd think he and Kermit would be about the same level of difficulty. Maybe Robin would be a little less due to his simpler pupils and lack of collar, but then you have the tiny head size...

The wait for Spring 2009 starts here

:o Kevin No more grasshoppers and beers for Kermit. :) But seriously, you aren't alone in your feelings and it appears you are trying to take a healthy perspective. Sometimes you have to grieve and that gets messy. It's supposed to and it's what makes us human. There are many other things I...

    Hancock movie: thoughts?

Hancock is a hit. The early estimates are in: Hancock's weekend take - $66M (total gross since Wednesday - $107M). It is a holiday weekend that's particularly good for movies so it makes sense that it would make $3M more than Wall-E's opening last week. No doubt this is a hit and I'm glad. I...

    Hellboy II: The Golden Army

:super: Director of Pan's Labyrinth, Guillermo del Toro returns to helm Hellboy 2. The original film was the only contender to knock Mel Gibson's Passion off the number one spot back in 2004. I appreciate the irony in that, but people get the wrong idea about the Hellboy character. He's a...
