Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

I haven't measured Toadie yet, but here are some images I snapped that shows his ratio to MR's posers. My hands are a bit on the smaller size and they fit the whatnots just fine. The one note I would have is their torsos are rather short so if professionally performing these a puppeteer would...

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock Complete Series Collection

I enjoyed your review, Gord Lacey. I suppose it isn't the cardboard doing the scratching (it's cardboard, the sleeves can't scratch the discs on their own) but when transporting the set they come loose and slide around everywhere. It's like they got lost along the way in design of the set. It...

Dark Crystal sequel may be headed to DVD

I have been to film school and studied many areas of that topic (along with my film fave Dark Crystal) so I get what you are saying. My irritation is that Henson was releasing press teasers and signing off on magazine covers for this sequel before it was anywhere near that stage regardless...

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock Complete Series Collection

Is it that they use a different placement method of inserting the DVDs in the cardboard sleeves? I don't see why cardboard should scratch, but I have noticed some on mine.

Meet the Feebles: A sick take on the Muppets

Amazingly enough it is on Netflix! It really should come with more of a warning. It's not for the usual rental crowd.

Writing Campaign: Save the Fozzie Photo Puppet

There are so many threads on this topic so I will post this here too: For the next two days (Sunday and Monday from 10-6) my Gonzo poser will be prominently placed in a local specialty toy store along side me in downtown San Francisco. Action Figure Freddy 812 Mission Street San...

Main Forum link doesn't work (for me)

My experience has shown me it is just primarily a Mac-based problem - however it isn't all or even most Macs that have an issue. Just more than PCs. I think updating the plug-in solves most of the issues.

Local Muppet Support in San Francisco

Why thank you very much for your support from the east coast! I used to live there once upon a time. Anyway, I'm so excited to have Gonzo work with me I actually made him a "Please Do Not Touch!" sign with Kermit in the O. Here it is. Feel free to copy this hi-res image and use it for...

Looking for a few Muppet Sideshow Weta statues

Just as a note, these are great items! The best ones are Rowlf, Beauregard, Dr. Teeth, Animal, Gonzo and Miss Piggy (if you paint a faint wash over her canary yellow hair.) The worst is Fozzie. He's just so Pac Man looking IMHO. But he completes the collection. If you like Muppets this is...

Meet the Feebles: A sick take on the Muppets

I have said it before - I consider Meet the Feebles the most offensive film ever made, yet I am also proud to have it as part of my collection. There is no fear of it ever becoming a break-out hit. It is a small little cult classic. It was a labor of love for Peter Jackson. He actually poured...

Local Muppet Support in San Francisco

I posted this in the save Fozzie thread, but it "bears" repeating. :o :) For two days only my Gonzo poser will be prominently placed in a local specialty toy store in downtown San Francisco. I have recently been filling in for a freelance client and actually work the store on Sundays and...

    Save the Fozzie Replica

Local Muppet Poser Support! :) For two days only my Gonzo poser will be prominently placed in a local specialty toy store in downtown San Francisco. I have recently been filling in for a freelance client and actually work the store on Sundays and Mondays from 10-6. :concern: If you are in...

    Vault of Puppets Lawsuit

Yes, but the FBI doesn't sit around trolling YouTube and Amazon etc. The copyright holder must locate the infringement come to them and it is a process that only/usually those with deep pockets can afford to pursue. That was my point. If it's Joe Shmoe's registered and copyrighted indie short...

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

Toadie the Roadie My Muppet Whatnot Quick Review: There weren't as many options as a fan like me would want for a Muppet puppet yet I made due with what they had. I am not sure how original it will look among other whatnots, but he can always be customized. I chose the green Beaker-like...

Your Thoughts: It's Hard Out Here for a Shrimp

I finally broke down and ordered my copy from Amazon. No store is actually stocking Pepe's book on their shelves and every time I ask about it they tell me they can order it. Why bother when I can do that. I really would like to support Muppet product by purchasing it in a store and being seen...

    I won't be posting anymore...

You are quite correct! :excited: :search: To be honest, every forum has seasons. New people come, old people go. That's the way of forums. I don't necessarily think the forum changes as much as those members choosing to depart. Many times these members need to blame an external reason for...

    President Obama!

I have found that confidence, eye contact and a good general sense of humor always helps on interviews. Experience is built job-by-job but it does take getting a foot in the door. That can be tough especially now. Good luck. I'm still looking for something with more hours and consistency. As...

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock Complete Series Collection

The Whole Set In One Place...but something Okay, well...I waited a week and then broke down and got this set. My opinions: Packaging: Love the binder! Discs came loose, but play fine. I think they could have done a better job with the graphic art inside. We know there are a gazillion more...
