    Save the Fozzie Replica

It was because of him that I got the impossible to find Vinylmation Kermit. There was only one tucked away in a tiny case in a nook at the far row of booths at WonderCon so I trust his peepers for a Fozzie Bear replica. I'll also ask him to look out for Fraggley goodness if there's any around...

    Save the Fozzie Replica

My boss will be there in San Diego while I tend to his shop in San Francisco. If he sees anything Muppet he's likely to photograph it for me, but it's nice to have the bases covered all over. :o

Original Muppet Whatnot Workshop now off-line

Incidentally, I met a very nice woman in the store last week whose mother is largely responsible for the Muppet Whatnot concept and appeared with DL Hughley on his CNN Christmas show when he made his own Whatnot at Manhattan's FAO. She's was the nice lady shrugging off some of his crude but...

    Save the Fozzie Replica

Top brands that come to mind: Sideshow/Weta, Gentle Giant, Medicom, Tonner. My money is on Sideshow. However, it would be cool to see someone like Neca branch out into these unique poser items and maybe even retain a license to make figural representations too. I want to see some new Muppet...

    Animal! ! ! !

Oh cool. How did that come about? Your perfectionism is swift. I thought it would take longer, but I'm glad it won't require that kind of patience. I have seen so many "professional" Muppet montages like this mash of characters that tries too hard or this poorly Photoshopped one...

    Animal! ! ! !

That's 36 characters if I counted correctly. Wow, and Annie Sue, and both blue and green frackles. Beyond impressive. This is going to take a year isn't it? :concern:

    Favorite Musician Muppet

I like Dr. Teeth for his gravely voice and smooth keyboard stylings (not to mention his fashion sense). I like Zoot for his understated demeanor and mad sax skills. I like Floyd for his sharp original singing voice and that he's always too hip for the room. I like Janice for her...

    Muppets.com relaunches with Disney XD

Glad you could see this new gem. Beau's ears are kind of weird. Maybe he's getting older. I wonder if that's a refurbished puppet or a complete rehaul?

    Animal! ! ! !

I love the Cintiq. I'm probably going to create a hard drive set up exclusively for it with bits and pieces already in my apartment. You're right about the screen toggle. I'd rather not have a competing/dueling screen and the connection isn't ideal on my large-scale laptop. Where is it that you...

    Animal! ! ! !

Oooh! Let's see. I understand the aim of this composition is using iconic likenesses of the characters in a poster that celebrates the original Muppet Show. That leaves my favorite new character Pepe out of the mix and it makes sense. Animal's bunny friend is new, however woodland creatures...

    Muppets.com relaunches with Disney XD

Most of the web requires Flash for video. This was only an update so you can watch the clip.

    Save the Fozzie Replica

I agree with that. Even with Sideshow's busts they had that Pac-Man looking Fozzie that some people liked, but the rest of the busts were pretty amazing by almost anyone's standards. Nobody will ever release a better Rowlf than they did.

    Save the Fozzie Replica

I guess we have a different definition of the term great. I reserve such praise for a higher standard. At best the dolls were passable sculpts with quality materials and articulation. However, the faces look quite wrong to me. Had the dolls looked better I would have purchased them long ago when...

    Papa Roy 1907 - 2009

I am so sorry for your loss. Of course my thoughts and prayers are with you today. I'll check back for the tribute. :o

    Save the Fozzie Replica

Ugh, really? They didn't look much like the gelflings I know from my favorite film - The Dark Crystal. At least, not enough to call them great. Sideshow has done some wonderful Henson stuff to better demonstrate excellence. I've heard more complaints than praise about the Gelfling dolls. They...

    Save the Fozzie Replica

Sideshow's 2002 Dark Crystal dolls are a terrible example of the company's usual quality standards. These helped made it difficult to market Dark Crystal items to retailers. So many companies passed on the license because of the response to the Sideshow dolls, but Plan B bravely released their...

    Photoshop/Premier

I've already got them, but they are fantastic programs that every artist should have. :zany:

    Animal! ! ! !

Ooooh! It arrived. These items were pretty much gifts, I'm poor these days. Hopefully this will help improve my productivity so I can make a bit more cash. I'm truly blessed to have such a supportive family. They never have known what to get me and I still can't believe they splurged on these...

Very happy. I think Dave Goelz has caught on about how much we miss that character.

    Animal! ! ! !

I have a good IT friend that will fix anything for Red Bull, graphic design services and a lot of cussing about, "What did you do to your #**@ computer?" :halo: That's the only way I can function with a PC. I just couldn't take the expense or the swift loss of support for older hardware more...
