In Guy Smiley's "This is Your Life: Tree" Sketch, she was performed by Jim (well, voiced by Jim and performed by someone else, due to Guy being in the same shot)
Apparantley, a lot of Muppet bloopers and outtakes are pretty bad and littered w/ swear words, which wouldn't suprise me. Hey, if you had your arm up i the air for 2 1/2 hours doing a 3 minute piece over and over, you'd be less than happy, too! ;)
Sounds like a great idea, but Dave apparantley does not like Muppets. He has made lots of terrible jokes about them, apparantley. :attitude:
IMHO, this is a really bad choice. Disney has been plummeting in a downward spiral for a few years now, with films not doing well and the several problems with the theme parks a few years back (remember the costumes-underwear fiasco?) Disney has also betrayed Tne Muppets and thier fans...
There's also some new Muppet postcards in the UK. I saw them on the web (Froogle, new google merch. search) When I find the link I'll post it. There were two (1 pound each). One had a new Kermit pic. (full figure) with "Muppet and Proud!" on it. The other had a caption (forget it, sorry, :o...
I think the eyes controls are in the lower jaw of the puppets. This would make the most sense. This way, They could move the mouth and the eys at the same time. This of course is just a guess. :concern:
This is a beatutiful special. It takes place in a new Muppet backstage setting, a mixture of Muppets Tonight and The Muppet Show's backstage. Fozzie, Scooter, Gonzo, Rizzo and others try to pull together a show for Jim (who they dion't find out passed until the end of the show, which concludes...
<<Yeah. I guess there is really no way of knowing which particular pupateer is sub-ing for the characters regular pupateer unless you actually see who's performing them or something like that.>>
Actually, you can tell at times. All performers have distinct lip synch. For example, Louise...
Yep, that's what they do. They do that a lot in the later episodes. Also, they recorded the dialouge before the performance, which is obvious in a very short clip in Of Muppets and Men (You can hear Animal's prerecorded voice in the backround while Jim, Frank and Jerry discuss the scene) Chef...
Hey all!
Many people disagreed with me when I said The Newsman was too short, but I think I may be able to proove my theory. Next time you see the Kenny Rogers ep. check out the Newsman's backstage scene. He's close to the height of Piggy. Now I could be wrong, but I still think he's a tad too...
