I heard that The Beatles' "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" was on the first season of Sesame Street. What Muppets appeared in it? If anyone here has seen it, can you please describe it to me? I find it really weird they would use a song about getting high on SS, but hey..it was '69....... :D

Is that not what the Muppets are all about? ;) I think both songs you mentioned are great and tailor fit for the Muppets. They also bring an element of comedy into the number, with the suprise of Beautiful Day in drag as Lulu.

I think, personally, Piggy looks horrible now. I mean, why do they slim her down for every photo and toy? It's ridiculous. Then they respond with: "Piggy's keeping up with the times". Being thin is keeping up with the times? C'mon, JHC!:mad: I agree, Piggy looked best in the TMS years, and...

BTW, just out of curiousity, why is Richard performing Scooter with his left hand in "Mr. Bassman"? I just realized it yesterday watching "Rock Music with The Muppets" that his performance is a tad sloppy and the only hand moving is his right. Maybe another performer? :confused:

First and Third questions: All dubbed, my man. See, Frank was unable to be on the set, so Kevin performed the puppets, and later Frank came back and looped the voices over Kevin's. It's been done with Franks characters for a while now (of course, now, with Eric, they really don't need him)
