Gloat was heavily featured on and most known for his background roles on the Muppet Show. They got it right. Also, the picture does say Codzilla, but the caption says Godzilla. I'd likely have made that error...

The whole "commercializing" claim is moot to me because the church co-opted existing observed dates in secular culture for Christian-based festivities. Nobody really knows the exact historical dates of these religious occurrences.
Even though the Muppets under Jim did mention religion here...
