I agree with Vic, the two threads are about the same topic of a thread that has already been posted and I'm considering merging the threads there.
Furthermore, I canNOT understand why, on a Muppets Fan Forum, there would ever be any arguing or angry posts? It's just silly. Yes, we're all...
I perform Muley at events around town, and I keep him more out front than where I am. I've done some videos where Muley and I interact, but in public we hardly interact together. I wear whatever at those events and it's never caused a problem. I usually am looking away from everything he's...
The wedding of Luis and Maria was also a big deal episode.
I like the sets. It's funny some of the shows I've seen that they think are the best of the best, but they REALLY need to consider things like Don't Eat the Pictures and the Hawaiian trip. I love those as well.
I'm excited about...
Everybody comes down hard on Muppets Tonight, but I liked it. I have a VHS copy of the whole series and once a year watch all the episodes. It's cool to see the characters go from being not-so-hot to being full-fledged characters. I think of that series Sal and Johnny got my vote as great...
I agree! This is completely stuff we're used to with The Muppets! Want to keep the fans interested, give us more stuff like this...but, in a TV show format, then make a movie. Yes. More Muppety goodness like the good ol' days, please.
Hoping I'm not considered a Moderation-Nazi, I just did some editing but posted reasons.
I haven't seen it yet, but as long as they are trying to begin something with the Muppets it's good. This, I'm sure, is a vehicle to get something else going and maybe we're soon to see a new Muppet show...
Vic, dude, you're absolutely right!
Kevin the Frog, thanks for the information.

8/16/08 update:
I'm going to check the rules on other message boards and see what they state about moderation and suggest that to Phil.
There should be no arguing on a Muppets fan forum. It's just...
That's gotta be heck on your toes! Ouch! :)
Hope everything is okay after the wisdom teeth thing. I had that done -- 4 out at once! -- and it was not a lovely time!
Tomorrow, one of my best friends is having that done as well, all 4 at once.
:D <-- wonder if he still has HIS wisdom...
You should run for President, because I agree with you on this!
I vote for Dave Alvarez, too.
I just hope that whoever is working on the book will do some research on the characters and watch some shows. It frightens me that little things like misspelling "Wocka Wocka" will hurt it...
As long as the characters look decently like the characters they are supposed to represent, I'd be okay with it. The Disney Adventures' Pigs in Space is acceptable. The Fozzie is NOT. Ack. That is painful to the heart of this poor bear's fandom.
I also didn't mind Gilchrist's comic strip...
Ha ha!
I tried the Kermit Kult for a while, but it gave me warts.
:zany:
By the way, this was part of an e-mail I got today about signature picture sizes:
An example of 'no discussion allowed' forums. Eek.
Should've called me. :)

Okay, I'd seen the Pigs in Space and was cool with the art there, but what is up with all this other stuff? That artwork is NOT befitting the Muppets. I mean, I'll buy to support it, but...woah.
I wish there were art up from the new book somewhere to see...
He was behind at least two of my fanaticisms: Muppets and Ghostbusters.
He also cared a great deal about Jim Henson, so by that connection alone we've lost a friend who never knew us.
I agree. Constructive criticism can help a LOT, and it's welcome. It's why I'm not upset about anything and glad to share information and help as much as possible.
Ms. P - It isn't blasphemy to have opinions about any products or projects that the Big 3put out for us. The problem isn't in diplomatic sharing of opinions--that's more than welcome.

I think that this thread came about because my OWN editing in someone's post (that I feel...
