Here's my reasons for posting and asking about if we should close this thread or not: 8 reports from folks using this thread.
(There wasn't any pressure to care about, Redpiggy--it's in that there were 8 reports about this topic alone all within a few weeks' course. Seriously. That is enough to...
If ever any Muppet Central member is angry at any other Muppet Central member, they are angry at the wrong people. There should NEVER be a feeling like that at MC. Ever.
Moderator Kev speaking: Can someone tell me the worth of keeping this mostly negative thread open on Muppet Central? Give me 3 good reasons why it should remain open -- convincing reasons -- and I'll leave it open.
I'm on the edge of closing it. I have read the pages, seen the "reported...
Well, the "Ask Muley" project met its doom for a while now. Unfortunately, our camera was bust. Busted? Our camera got ruined. Plus, about 2 weeks after we started that, Sesame set up "Ask Elmo" (Coincidentally??), so with a larger audience we felt that it would be better to just not do that...
I, of course, am stupid about computer stuff.
Here is what I just did:
I logged in--username and password--but didn't click on "remember me," and when I closed the browser window and came back to the forum I had to sign in again.
This time, I hit "remember me," and logged out of the...
One of the things that I'll be most glad of is when the Dead Sea Scrolls are finally online (via Google and the Israeli Museum something-something). When I was in San Diego, I went to the Natural History Museum and saw the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit and I have to say that it is very close to the...
I still have my DW action figures from the 80's (or early 90's?), and just recently found an extra Ratcatcher that I USPSd to one of my favorite pals up in NY; but, some NICE PVC figurines of the DW characters would be great; or, something more articulated and less "animated features" on action...
Speaking of adding images, and such, if you visit www.bluesbrotherscentral.com forums they have a thing set up so there are thumbnails (as SgtFloyd mentioned) that link off the site to elsewhere--keeps the forum from being clogged down with images.
Nobody stops that conversation--folks just need to get on those forum boards and discuss. If there is discussion to be had, open a new topic. :wisdom:
@DWMcKiM: Never saw the show, Farscape (how sad is that?); but, I did pick up a few of the comics series and I'll say this for that...
Are we all on this forum not 'fanatics?' That's where the term "fan" comes from. Ha ha.
Please offer opinions carefully, gang. Don't try to be 'sneaky offensive' with each other--respect each other's opinion. Careful debate is very welcome, obviously.
But, if the topic is inclusive of...
Aight. Boom Studios announced they were doing Muppet Comics and they had me. Yeah, I complained when I first saw the designs for Langridge's versions; but, it quickly grew on me when I could see it all as a full book and I became a quicker fan.
A few other books came along and I was...
Jim Henson was so brilliant, and paired with the brilliance of Richard Hunt you can't help but be in awe at their comedy and performance. I always love when Muppets ham it up; but, playing off the fact that they couldn't open the envelope is pure gold!
Phillip,
Go check the forums at www.bluesbrotherscentral.com and check out some things that Chris Rossi has done there. He has a chatroom set up. I don't think a chatroom would be a bad thing. Long ago several of us used to meet up in the Yahoo chats and do voice chats to hear each other's...
31 years old already? Wow, that's...OH! 13! Wow. I've been posting here for almost 13 years of my life. That means something considering one of my very best friends has been in my world for 17 years.
Happy birthday to my extended MC family!
