Go here for the episode guide. The last three were a trilogy. Supposedly 94 and 95 are supposed to be flip-flopped. That is, they were recorded in that order but run in another order. I think "The Gorg Who Would Be King" happens before "The Honk of Honks"...
Ken,
Yes I have given flowers to women. I stick with roses though.
I get the removable/reversible mix-up now. That's what I get from reading it second-hand. It's like a game of telephone.
BTW, I asked this before but no one said anything- how big are the PVCs? Also, when are they...
I also love the Juliet Prowse reference. Didja see that one recently, or read the Muppet Show Book?
Love the horse gags, and the anecdotes from Topol. This is a good one!

Re: great idea
I'll get you yet, Kevin! I swear I will! MUWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! Now I have to KEEL you! Wait a sec, keel? How do you do that? Or maybe it's supposed to be keel-haul?
Good thing you're only kidding. Good thing for you.

Re: Gonzo accessories
Bouquet of flowers and reversible carnation? Could someone please explain? I mean I know what bouquet is, but why is it there with Gonzo? And what is meant by reversible carnation?
Good to hear about the bugle.
Ken, do you know if Meijer is on board for Series 2...
This may be one of your best yet, TM! WOW!
A return of the Three-Headed Monster, and Annie Sue, a little Monty Python reference, good Vet's Hospital sketch, the Chef substituting a chicken for a lime, the bathing beauties, and of course the closing comment!
Very polished, flows well...
They're not actually named as such in the Vincent Price episode, which puzzled me when I heard their names. They got named in the next episode, the one with Valerie Harper; they're in two backstage scenes in this one, and that expression is used right before they're named.
Gonzo tells Kermit...
Ken or anybody who knows,
What is the UPC of the Series 2 casepack?
You see, I work at Meijer and we just got Series 1 on Friday, so I want to see if we've placed an order for Series 2. Or maybe you know, Ken, if Meijer has jumped on board for another series; I'm hoping there's a chance...
I also favor a larger playset. I dunno, I suppose that if you had backdrops for the sketches it'd still work, but then what would be the point of the playsets that led up to it?
I agree with MM-III, why not hold off on the stage playset for now and see if the kitchen sells at $30? That way...
Darn you Ken! Now I DO have to get the PVCs!
One thing about the figure though- something about his body didn't look right. It was like his top half was disproportionate to his bottom half (or bottom third, rather). Perhaps it was the arms- looks like he could touch his toes without...
Daffyfan2002-
The quote from the George Burns episode is as follows:
S: That George Burns is a great singer!
W: Well so am I, Statler!
S: What?!
W: Sure! Hey, you wanna hear me sing?
S: Only if you sing tenor.
W: Tenor?
S: Ten or eleven miles away! HA HA HA HA HA!
The life after...
Traveling Matt-
What?! The scene with Kermit and the guard was in the Odyssey cut? I've only seen the Nickelodeon and Time-Life versions, so I always assumed that this scene simply didn't make it to the released version, like the scene where Harry Belafonte had to argue with one of the...
Actually, the Bravo Bravo quote is from the George Burns episode, after Kermit & Piggy sing "I Won't Dance" in At the Dance.
Some of my favorite S & W quotes:
W: Wonderful!
S: Marvelous!
W: That you should care for me.
(Ruth Buzzi ep.)
The following three from the Marisa Berenson ep...
re: Judy Collins
I know that Henson gave two taping dates months apart, but looking at the episode it's obvious to see that Judy Collins didn't actually tape her material until the latter date, so I wedge her episode in between Rudolf Nureyev and Elton John, by completion rather than start I...
But Ken, Sweetums's mouth will still move, right? After all, you got Animal's mouth to move, and his eyebrow too. I would think that could be done on a larger scale then. Any luck figuring out a mechanism for Sweetums's eyes to move from side to side?

I've traded with Europeans before. There's a place not far from here where I send PAL tapes to be converted to NTSC, cheaper than anywhere else I've found.

One of those decisions you've got to make, I guess. The real Rex Harrison was apparently more like Henry Higgins than Dr. Dolittle.
And anyhow, we set the style of this episode in the fifth season. Specifically we both pretty much agreed that it'd be kind of around the time of the Roger...
Has anyone seen or heard of the special "I Love the Muppets"? I seem to recall some mention of it a while back, if I'm thinking of the right program- an edition of a UK series.
I was a bit surprised to see who were the celebs who took part in it- James Coburn, Leo Sayer, Debbie Harry...
TravellingMatt and Gorgon Heap present TMS with special guest star Rex Harrison!
Here it is, the product of a week's work of imagination and collaboration. The Muppet Show, with our very special guest star, Rex Harrison.
You may ask about the penguin gag repeated throughout the episode...
