Hey, I love Dom DeLuise! Most of the time, anyway. I met him once, he was opening a food court at Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, MI, and I drove for an hour to a place I'd never been before- a big thing for me if you know me- and got to meet him in person. He's a massive guy, for one...
Working on a Rodney Dangerfield outline as we speak. Well, not currently, been busy w/schoolwork, but I've got one in the works.
I can't believe I forgot Nathan Lane! He'd be perfect! Did a good rendition of "Sing" on SS. It could be kinda like the Zero Mostel episode of TMS (or better...
Wow, I'm not the only one! You took the words right out of my mouth. I've seen "There's a New Sound" too (UK Spot, Cheryl Ladd episode, although it was clearly taped the previous season, and it looked like Jim was doing the puppeteering for Scooter). The worms are Muppets, of course, but...
I meant Gonzo's fur. The original had pure dark blue fur with black lines for texture. It looked like the Tux Gonzo prototype had more fur that was more purplish blue, like the figure. Then, looking at the pics at the Palisades site, it looked like he still had the blue fur w/black lines. Is...
Ken-
Is the Tux Gonzo going to be blue with black lines like the first one, or a more purple-ish blue?
P.S.- what changes are you going to make when you say the nose colors are going to be revisited? His nose as it is is more accurate than the first Gonzo.

Two space questions for Ken-
The prototype Swinetrek from Toy Fair showed a regular star viewscreen, like on the show. I thought I heard you say that was no longer going to be a part of the set. Am I wrong? Or is the star background the default viewscreen that you put the others over top...
My mistake, I was thinking of Oz's upcoming remake of The Stepford Wives, which Joan Cusack is going to be in. So she's worked with him once, and is set to work with him a second time.
Thought of more:
Kelsey Grammer (I may write an outline of this one)
David Hyde Pierce
David "Gorgon...
They need actors who can sing. Some suggestions:
Renee Zellweger (she'd be so great with the Muppets)
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Hugh Jackman (doing something with Miss Piggy)
Jim Broadbent (character actor, let him play some characters)
John C. Reilly (see Jim Broadbent)
Nicole Kidman (why...
Ken, a Newsman question-
When you say that he's too yellow, what does that mean? Does that mean he's going to be more pale? More orange? I thought his skin in the Toy Fair prototype was fine- what's the final going to look like?

Probably the reason most haven't seen it is because it is a UK Spot (from the Wally Boag episode). It runs on MC Radio sometimes (oddly enough, transposed down half a step down- slowed speed of recording probably).

T.R. was in the goodnights of the Roy Clark episode, too. You can just see his eyes in the lower right hand corner (as well as the Goat- just his snout).

Santana's "Evil Ways" ('you've got to change- baby') performed by two guys w/a girl who keeps transforming into all sorts of creatures/people/things/etc.

I don't have the complete opening zoom from the Valerie Harper show, but I do have *** Willow leading into Searchin', the opening zoom of the Florence Henderson show (w/Dutch subtitles), the opening zoom of the Connie Stevens show (reds bleed) and the original Mummenschanz credits. All are in...
I want to say he's in the chorus of Joel's closing number, "Razzle Dazzle", but I'm not certain. Anyone else know?
#8 Paul Williams: he dances with Zelda Rose in 'At the Dance'
#18 Phyllis Diller: to add to yours, he is in Phyllis's first number, where she and Rowlf joke back and forth; a...
Just these:
#3 Joel Grey: he plays in the band in Joel's first number, "Wilkommen"
#51 Roy Clark: Roy pets Muppy while singing "Yesterday When I Was Young"
#78 Linda Lavin: he sings in the closing number, "Beyond the Blue Horizon", and appears in the goodnights (with his original eyes)...
Okay Ken, I got a three-part question for ya about the Newsman's backdrop:
1) what's it made of? cardboard? PVC? Something else?
2) what are the dimensions?
3) Can we see a picture of it? Please?:D :zany:

You mean we can do something about the figures that break if it's an established & recurrent flaw like this? I wasn't sure because I had already spent the $38 to buy the playset from Palisades direct, which arrived with a broken drumset, and then spent another $8 shipping it back, only for...
I had the same problem, and ended up breaking his right hand off! Luckily the right glue fixed it, albeit w/o articulation.
I ran his stuck joints under warm water and that loosened them up. Can't promise it will work for the hand, though, being such a small joint.
