I think one occasionally gets the feeling that Red has a crush on Gobo (tho she'd never admit it). One could read that episode that way- but then again, she was upset b/c she wanted him to do a slide stunt with her and he wasn't making time for her, but made time for Mokey. In some of the...
Or will be soon. When I think A-list, I'm thinking Crowe, Cruise, Kidman, Zellweger, Depp, Julia Roberts, Carrey, Myers, Sandler- the people whose names automatically draw crowds at movie theaters, the biggies. All of those aforementioned folks were born before 1970. Still, I don't doubt that...
I just got through watching the first 12 episodes in production (not airing) order. For those who don't know, the shows were taped in this order:
"The Thirty-Minute Work Week"
"Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk"
"You Can't Do That Without a Hat"
"The Preachification of Convincing John"
"Let the...
They are on the backburner. Don't hold your breath for 'em, I'm sorry to say I keep pretty busy these days. I'll get to them eventually. Will probably do the Sid Caesar one first.

Hard to choose between Wembley and Boober. Wembley was my favorite growing up, but Boober has gotta be the funniest of the Fraggle five, with his deadpan humor and big vocabulary, which IMO elevate FR to that additional level where it can be appreciated by adults. But I love Wembley to death...
I wouldn't put it that way, exactly. My reading of it was that being a Minstrel was like being part of a select musical priesthood, and that being a nomad and leaving behind your friends and your home was one of the requirements. I wouldn't think it was a challenge to what little authority...
I thought it might be fun to make a list of the foods found in the Fraggle and Gorg world. Here's what I can recall:
-Radishes (radish bars, Doozer sticks, radish dip, radish toast, etc.)
-Rutabagas
-Tomatoes
-Mustard
-cabbage (the skunk variety)
-greaseberries
-stinkberries
-peaches...
The tunnel itself looked like a giant stone clam, and was voiced by Karen Prell (in her 'monstrous' voice, which IMO is really creepy).

His appearance changed between the first episode taped ("Thirty-Minute Work Week") and the second ("Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk"). In 'Work Week', his hair is askew and his pupils are farther apart; also I think the hair/eyelids mechanism is absent. In 'Don't Cry...', his pupils are closer...
I'd like to know who's definitely on board among the performers, and also, where it's going to shoot (i.e. Toronto or someplace else). Also gotta wonder if any of the original second tier performers will be back (like Cheryl Wagner, Terry Angus, Rob Mills, Trish Leeper, Gord Robertson, Bob...
I was under the impression that the Minstrels were nomadic (see FR episode #31 "Mokey and the Minstrels") and that being minstrels was their only job.

Didn't John Kennedy play Dr. Teeth at one point in time? I wanna say it was in MFS, it was one word, "Shalom", when the EM was playing a bar mitzvah, I believe.
If Kennedy is getting Floyd, who's getting Dr. Teeth?
I didn't see WoO- which previously silent Muppets were in that and who...
But he was in the Paul Williams, Charles Aznavour, Lena Horne, Peter Ustinov, and Sandy Duncan episodes, so I don't know what your logic is supposed to be suggesting.
It's worth noting that in a lot of Season One episodes, the same characters appeared in the goodnights quite a bit- Piggy...
