Why has it been so long? Because, as sometimes happens, I discovered I had enough material to keep going until I had a full episode.
For those of you who aren't familiar with Mr. Redbone, he's an eclectic, old-fashioned performer with a down-to-earth/oddball sense of humor, a style of...
#1 Juliet Prowse: Juliet, Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Scooter, Zoot (?) Snowth(s); of course these wouldn't all fit before the re-edit
#2 Connie Stevens: Connie, Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo, Hilda, Zoot (?), Lydia, Ernie & Bert
#3 Joel Grey: I can't remember why, but I think of Zoot
#79 Dudley...
Hi all,
Yes, I've been gone a while, haven't posted a TMS outline in ages. That's because I wrote a screenplay earlier this year and have been busy rewriting my first screenplay (not to mention having a new job and other life changes).
I'm almost done with the rewrite and am getting back...

Two other Abe Burrows songs, "A Gypsy's Violin" and "When", were also included in the Peter Sellers episode. He also wrote "Carbon Paper" (performed on the Leo Sayer & Phyllis George episodes) and "Sea Chantey" (performed on the Petula Clark episode)...
Well, I just saw the Jean-Pierre Rampal one. Scene basically doesn't go anywhere or do anything. It's an evening scene of a French sidewalk cafe, a French couple is lovey-dovey, the guy doesn't care for the Accordion Player's playing, everyone's dancing, the French guy clocks the Accordion...
Bear in mind also that his day job is on "How I Met Your Mother" and he would be unlikely to have the time to star in one weekly program while writing for another.
Plus, a new Muppet Show wouldn't be "Segel-written"; how many TV shows have just one writer? Answer: none.

Argh! I knew it was in July, but I didn't remember when in July and now I missed it. Happy belated birthday, Terry! Hope it was everything you wanted out of it and more.

I have Gonzo to thank for a considerable amount of my weirdness... and for my comic timing ;)
Happy birthday from one Dave to another!

Oil tycoon? Did I miss an article? Serves me right for being out of the loop.
Carol Burnett was also great as Miss Hannigan in the film version of "Annie" (which I think got a bad rap - Burnett, Finney, and Anne Reinking were great, as was Edward Hermann in his cameo as FDR).
Bateman...
LOVE the idea of Will Arnett. Apparently he did Sesame Street recently, or so he said on a late-night talk show (can't remember which one, Jimmy Kimmel I think). If you've never seen "Arrested Development", you don't know what you're missing!

He does? I don't remember seeing him in there.
Actually, as far as I can tell, he doesn't appear in the episode at all, despite the many photos of him with Cheryl Ladd against a blue background. Practically every time a picture of this episode is used, it is one of her and Sweetums, yet the...
