Okay, first of all, it's on Noggin, and you have to have either digital cable or satellite in order to get it, and it's not usually part of the basic service, so you might not get it.
And also, you can check it out if you want, but unfortunately, I wouldn't get too attached to it. Because it...
They can't show Unpaved during the overnight hours during the week because it doesn't go with either Noggin, nor The N. It was for preschoolers 25 years ago, and in that program director's opinion, it isn't for anyone to this day. Although I don't necessarily agree with that lady. But, very...
I agree. Elmo didn't used to be anything like he is now, and he was hardly ever on. Rosita was only a minor character as well. I remember Zoe used to get words mixed up when she first started. And I liked Baby Bear a lot better when he used to be followed around by that pesky Goldilocks, who...
Every pinball segment has been on Noggin except #8, which was used last season. Now they might still use some of those, because kids still play with pinball machines. The #7, #10, and #6 versions can be seen on 123 Sesame Street.
Well, I just looked at Unpaved from last Monday morning, and they are now airing it as part of "Cable in the Classroom". It was show #2615, the episode where Gabi is first born. It did not have the "Unpaved" intro. I don't think it's really for a reason, but some of those episodes, like that...
I would assume probably nobody remembers him. I have only ever seen him on one episode from the 1992-93 season. I remember it was show #3017. He was purple with a green nose, and he had glasses. He brought his own "10 second toaster" into the fixit shop, because it only toasted for 9 seconds...
But I think those shows are very popular with "The N's" audience. And Sesame Street Unpaved was never all that popular to begin with. But I mean, they are coming out with new channels all the time. My cable company adds 3 new channels like every month. That's why I thought there could be a CTW...
I know, this is very sad. We tried setting up a petition to get them to keep it, but we just couldn't get enough signatures. I mean, it was great while it lasted for a good 4 years. But it just didn't work. So I guess it's gone forever!! (cries really hard)
There really isn't anything we can...
I think David Rudman performed him temporarily, before they found Eric Jacobson. I would assume all the skits you see with him being played by David Rudman were done before Eric Jacobson. But in some of those letter of the day skits, I could have sworn it was Frank Oz!
Actually, Elmo was originally performed by someone named Brian Muehl, but he wasn't called Elmo until later. I think Richard may have performed him for a year or 2, but that's pretty much it. The original Elmo can also be seen in "Me Lost Me Cookie At The Disco". And also, "We Are All Monsters"...
I was just going to post something about this! The reason why they cancelled it is because, in case you didn't know, they weren't actually making any new shows, those were all reruns.
However, Jeffrey Gray says CTW has decided to collaborate with some company and make some new shows. But I...
I do know the credits with the sunset and the tide on the beach. On that one that Noggin airs from 1989, it used the regular theme music, but there was also special theme music they used when it took place at night. It sounded like a celeste, kind of like a music box. It was actually on Unpaved...
