Are the Muppets as popular as they were 30 to 40 years ago?

I agree with you on this. I also would be surprised to see MT on there as well.

Are the Muppets as popular as they were 30 to 40 years ago?

Thanks for that explanation. Let's also hope that when Disney+ launches next year, we can get a chance to see that new Muppets series as a chance for the characters to become more popular. I also hope the Muppets catalog will be avaliable on there, including the stuff that never got released on DVD.

Are the Muppets as popular as they were 30 to 40 years ago?

Well, it's been said. To wrap this up, the Muppets' popularity is a mixed bag.

Disney Channel Australia broadcasts of Episodes 405 and 413 of TMS

Does anyone have Disney Channel Australia airings of episodes 405 and 413 of The Muppet Show for trade? (The former with Victor Borge, the latter with Dizzy Gillespie) I'm asking this because I'd like uncut, 25 minute versions of these episodes for personal use. I won't make money off of them...

    Let's Take a Stand:The Muppet Show Season 4 and 5

Those look illegal. You can wait, but yeah, just stick with those TV recordings of episodes from the 4th and 5th seasons that never made it to home media in the USA. And I bet they'll be out next year, I agree with you. On Disney+, the Disney streaming service, no matter what or if possible.

    Let's Take a Stand:The Muppet Show Season 4 and 5

Or maybe they'll be uncut, considering Ed McCray did a post on Facebook saying all the rights got cleared.

    Let's Take a Stand:The Muppet Show Season 4 and 5

I believe they'll be on Disney+, albeit edited for stuff that can't be cleared, like season 1, whereas seasons 2 and 3 would be uncut.

    Let's Take a Stand:The Muppet Show Season 4 and 5

I think they will bother releasing the last two seasons, on DVD or digital download or streaming, like Debbie McClellan said at DragonCon 2015. She's right. But I will admit and agree that it may be better late than never.

    Let's Take a Stand:The Muppet Show Season 4 and 5

https://www.facebook.com/ed.mccray/post ... 8441465120 "If you go to Muppet Central there's numerous references and links there that there's no rights issues on Season 4 and 5 and Disney keeps promising they're coming but continues to delay. They even did a D23 announcement a few years ago. The...

    Little things we've noticed

I guess Louise Gold and Kathryn Mullen will have to take his place, or maybe Chris Langham. (But I guess it'll be Kathy since Louise and Chris are in the UK and too busy to fly to the USA to do commentaries)

Why not? He did work for seasons 4 and 5 of TMS.

    The New New Quote Thread

Well, we'll see about that. I've seen Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers on digital download and there were episodes that never made it to DVD, so this could happen for The Muppet Show as well on streaming, and even the former.

    Little things we've noticed

Or you know what else they could do for the DVD releases of seasons 4 and 5? Audio commentaries with Frank Oz, Dave Goelz, and Steve Whitmire.

The Muppets in Wreck-It Ralph sequel?

They should be with Disney no matter what because 5 of the Muppet movies were produced by them and the first two now belong to them. So don't get me wrong, but Disney should own The Muppets, Bear in the Big Blue House, Star Wars, Marvel, and Wander Over Yander, no matter what. They really should.

The Muppets in Wreck-It Ralph sequel?

I kinda disagree. The Muppets should be with Star Wars and Marvel at Disney, no matter what.

Higher quality copies of select episodes from seasons 4 and 5 of The Muppet Show

I wonder what Scarecroe or anyone else who has HQ versions of the season 4 & 5 episodes that were never released on home media in the US thinks.

When will The Muppet Show Seasons 4-5 and Muppets Tonight arrive on DVD?

Including Muppets Tonight, The Jim Henson Hour, and all of The Muppet Show (1976-1981), including seasons 4 and 5, uncut or edited (for stuff that can't be cleared)? If so, that's a great idea. P.S. The Disney streaming service is gonna be called "Disney+".

When will The Muppet Show Seasons 4-5 and Muppets Tonight arrive on DVD?

Does he have the uncut versions of episodes 405 and 413 from somewhere like Disney Channel Australia, or are they the same edited versions from Nickelodeon and CTS?
