Beautiful Day Monster and his resemblance to Sam the Eagle

I just found out that Beautiful Day Monster existed. Has anybody here noticed that Beautiful Day Monster bears a striking resemblance to Sam the Eagle? Are they the same puppet?

    One Way vs. Don't Walk

I could never get into One Way-the only of the two I ever got into was Don't Walk. I think it's because there's a Don't Walk sign with a push button (updated to pictorial symbols) near what used to be the bakery where I learned of the term peanut flour. In fact, when in 2016 it was all over...

Would 90s Sesame Street have ever done an episode like this? Why or why not?

If an episode like the one I had a dream about had made it to broadcast how would the target age for Sesame Street have reacted upon seeing that as an episode?

Would 90s Sesame Street have ever done an episode like this? Why or why not?

Does that mean the world may never know what would have been approved for broadcast and what would have been scrapped in the 90s?

Would 90s Sesame Street have ever done an episode like this? Why or why not?

Well, the question I have is if the story seen in my aforementioned dream would have gotten approved for broadcast by whoever was at Sesame Workshop (in those days it was Children's Television Workshop) who made the approvals at the time or scrapped.

Queen Rosie of France (Remake of The Alligator King)

To decide how to make this remake, how old are the seven sons in the original supposed to be?

Would 90s Sesame Street have ever done an episode like this? Why or why not?

What makes you say that as the Tootsie Pop commercial ends, "The world may never know" if 90s Sesame Street would have done an episode like the one I had a dream about way back in 1995?

Would 90s Sesame Street have ever done an episode like this? Why or why not?

In the days of Sesame Street's original format of a main story interrupted by various short segments (the mid 90s) I had a dream that there was an episode in which an orange monster has been locked in a cage, and when the show went back to the main story, the monster was pleading to be let out...

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

If that's a true story, I hope the medical people these individuals had to be with helped them to keep going, and even if the AAPB deal never happened, it wouldn't have been the end of the world.

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

The Jim Henson stamp was only available in 2005. You are exactly correct that it was Sesame Street's 30th year when Big Bird was put on a stamp to honor Sesame Street as part of the 1999 Celebrate the Century: 1970s sheet.

Why are there no available Henson Productions Computer or Video Games?

Actually, in the late 90s, there was a series of educational computer games called "Muppet Kids Reading and Thinking Series". It's mentioned in the "Muppet Kids" article on Muppet Wikia, and to see videos of the gameplay of these games, look them up on YouTube.

What episodes would you like to see on HBO Max?

Did Sesame Street predict the future with a character named Barney that was purple? We all know who came along in 1992 and became popular.

    Misheard Song Lyrics

To expand the content of this thread into anything misheard, the local PBS affiliates have aired funding credits for the broadcast of their shows on their affiliates. This mishearing is of how WGBH/WGBX Boston, MA would say it in the 1990s. Misheard: Local broadcast TO (insert name of program)...

Queen Rosie of France (Remake of The Alligator King)

Another question that needs to be asked about this remake is how to make the seventh daughter have a genetic trait that the other six don't, because in the original the seventh son was yellow, while the rest were green, however some of them had a darker green hue than others, so we'd need to...

Anybody know what TV show this was from?

When I was little in the early 90s I remember seeing on TV a man showing a pad of illustrated pictures of words that begin with every letter of the alphabet. I know there was "D is for Door" for D and "K is for K-mart" for K. Who can tell me what TV show this was from?

Could Between the Lions ever come back?

I had another weird dream. You know that the Bumble's job of placing the star on top of the tree is only at the end of the calendar year, and he actually wanted a job that could last him the majority of the year, so the library that Between the Lions takes place in has given the Bumble a job-he...
