I had hoped to have it out by now but circumstances have caused it to be delayed further...i'm hoping i can have it done by the end of this month (Since October is also the release of Series two of the action figures, it would be an appropriate time for the Season Two Guide to come out). That's...
I've been massively busy this last week and hardly online at all and just found out the news. Thanks to those who've posted the info on the news and the various links for fans to try help save the show.
The news as to "WHY" it was cancelled has not yet leaked out - though there's speculation...

Here, let me try to explain in terms you can perhaps better understand/relate to...
Louie Anderson: host of Family Feud which Muppets were on and also guest on Jim Henson Hour (was turned into Pinkaboo)
George Wendt: Fat guy that Miss Piggy tried to interview while changing clothes...
...and you need the BLUE SHIRT Fozzie...
...so he can share it with the Scorpius clone in exchange for margarita shooters!
(Had to incite a Trek vs Farscape thing here!):D
Maybe New Zealand censors couldn't get past the puppet aspect and took the film at face value.
With puppets (and cartoons) you can get away with a certain slapstickish amount of violence that you otherwise couldn't with human actors...a scene with bar ruffian picking up someone and throwing him...
The only way they could have made Scooter look "new-ish" would have been if they put him inside of a box with some cobwebs :D
...one thing that has to be said though (and i lost the toss)...
360 DEGREES?! WHADDAYA NUTS? WON'T THEY MELT?
CaptCrouton:
It's true, the transcripts alone don't do the sketches justice. You do need to see them performed to really appreciate them!
Ravensisle:
If you have the E! Channel, they show old episodes of SNL, keep your eyes peeled and you may catch some on your own. They'll announce The...
Is that the full name?
Yes, Gorgon Heap is the name...in fact, you can hear Vincent introduce him by that name at the beginning of the sketch - and that was the only time his name was revealed.
But he does have another name. Before the sketch was recorded, the monster was referred to on set...

I know your Sesame Unpaved petition has had some mixed reactions, but trust me - STICK WITH IT!
A petition for a CTW channel would be truly misguided and would tend to really make a lot of sincere efforts (like the Unpaved petition) look bad. The reason being that something like...
While not created as a "teaching tool", if we want to list Muppets with disabilities, there's Blind Pew.
Seriously though, Sesame Street has been fantastic over it's history - in fact one of the best shows on television, childrens' show or otherwise - in terms of featuring people with...
Scooter also appeared as part of a group chorus at the MuppetFest live show (much wild applause when the puppet was brought out!)
You may remember Scooter on Muppets Tonight because even though he wasn't on it, there was a prominent photo of him among the photos on the KMUP studio set.
I'm another person with no "inside info" on the subject but with a very logical hypothesis...
I'd say it's highly likely for not only the reasons already mentioned but just thinking about episode #1 in particular. They most likely filmed all the street scenes at once where they had Caroll as...
