Way back when I was little, my mom drove a 1962 Falcon. Factory standard, black primer finish, nothing flashy.
My dad had a fleet of company cars, but they were all Chevy station wagons.
1970's UGLY!
He was always buying and selling cars, fixing up old wrecks and selling them cheap, but...
As long as they keep a number of early clips locked up (especially the musical numbers, trying to get past all the legal hassles preventing a proper release), then yes.
A good number of the clips from this episode have surfaced on youtube, but a few, like the one you mentioned, "Lucy in the Sky..." and the street scenes are still entombed in Sesame Limbo.
I'm a Christian, and I don't have it all figured out, either. Yet.
I respect where anybody stands, whether they believe or not.
As I've stated before, deeming yourself "religious" might push people away rather than draw them to you.
I've seen enough extremists on both sides. On one hand are...
I was barely two years old when these episodes originally aired. And for the longest time episode #'s didn't matter to me. Still don't. The stuff INSIDE the episodes was what got you excited.
People my age never would've dreamed Sesame Street would still be on 40+ years later, let alone having...
There was one episode back around 1977 (somewhere around the 1100's? Your guess is as good as mine.) Oscar somehow managed to convince Bob to come inside his can. Bob opens the lid and tries to climb in. Oscar warns him to watch out for his fire-breathing dragon- next thing you know a big blast...
Chong actually did start an anti-drug campaign a few years back. Probably after realizing how many brain cells he killed along the way, and not wanting others to follow his lead.
Not a pusher by any stretch of the imagination, but simply put, with drug deals, buying illegal fireworks, or any illicit transaction, cash is harder to trace than checks or credit cards.
I LOVED Danger Mouse back in its original 80's run (when Nickelodeon was only a part-time network, they didn't even have Nick at Nite yet!) and so much of the series still holds up 30 years later. If they do greenlight a new series, I hope they can do it justice.
The first verse of Paul Simon's "Kodachrome" sums up high school for me:
When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school,
It's a wonder I can think at all.
And though my lack of education hasn't hurt me none,
I can read the writing on the wall.
The thing I couldn't wait to get...
Depends on the website or who the seller is. Usually they list the payment options, terms, shipping costs, all that fun stuff. If you contact the seller, they should give you all the details.
I mentioned elsewhere about his dedication of the Carpenters' version of "Sing" to all the Sesame viewers out there ("You Sesame kids should dig this one!").
He did a lot of voiceovers for early Sesame cartoons, loved him as Shaggy ("Scooby Doo, Where Are You?"- my vote for best cartoon theme...
My dad died back in 2008. I spent 20 years being angry with him because of his alcoholism, but a few months before he died I finally made my peace with him.
I'll always be grateful I had the chance to do so before it was too late.
I visited his grave yesterday and smiled. He was far from...
