The reason it didn't get sued was probably because of all the SST people working on it. That and the fact that the The Jim Henson Company was in the process of selling the SST Muppets when this show came out. Plus, both shows were on the same channel,so that might've gotten really messy.
I'm not sure this show will be quite the hit that ARTHUR or CURIOUS GEORGE were, but it still has potential. I think it's all mostly down to the characters, while they're all cute and somewhat interesting ,I don't think any of them are as defined as they could be. Hopefully they can improve on...
The only non Henson related puppet show that i've ever truly enjoyed was Between the Lions. Loved it when I was little, still love it now. Though that's most likely due to it's similarities to Sesame Street.
Aw dang it! I was so sure that they had let the franchise die. But,nooo they were just waiting for the kids to get older so that they could market these terrible movies to different kids who aren't tired of them yet.
There is still an existing Roosevelt Franklin puppet as seen in this behind the scenes photo taken in 2009:

Welp, happy new year everybody!

1. I'm gonna study way harder than I have in my entire life (I haven't studied nearly as hard as I should have the past few years)
2. I'm going to make tons of new friends (I don't really have any friends besides...
Oh completely forgot about that movie, I never actually seen it but I do remember that Dom DeLuise was the lead. I vaguely remember a chubby red headed troll who looked like a troll doll.
Interesting, Rogers originally planned to audition to play Hawkeye but he found that character to be too cynical, which is why he auditioned to play Trapper who was generally more optimistic.
Has anyone mentioned "THE DOLPHIN: STORY OF A DREAMER" yet ?
That movie was pretty bad. Almost nothing happened the entire movie. All I remember is some really weird character who I think was the main character's sister, farting a lot and then smelling it.
