Yeah the kids on that show are whiny,spoiled and manipulative and their adult role model (the title character) often encourages their behavior. And on top of that all kids are stereotypes: the nerdy indian kid,the sassy black girl, the shallow blonde. The show is unfunny and the characters...
Planet Claire was awesome,it's not very often to come by a show that's actually encouraging to bigger kids and it's even more rare when it's a girl.:)
Probably,they have magic,I think. Although it does sort of make you think,why is this kid out there alone and why do they have a human ambassador ?

I love it when The Muppets has a new episode,it sort of brings the whole forum together. When this website comes together to discuss one big topic it really feels like we're part of a family and like we really know each other. We've been seeing people who haven't been on this site in years...
I know this is a kind of old thread but I read this conversation a few years ago and just came across it again today. It's a really interesting discussion and equally interesting to see how far TV has come in just four short years. Animation was really just starting to make a comeback in 2011...
They had Dog City which had Rowlf as the narrator and then in 1992 the animated series that was based off of that special. I don't think Jim had anything to do with the animated series or very little as it came out two years after his death.
