I know I'm double posting here but I don't care.
I changed my avatar last night and was thinking back to my childhood. I then recalled that I use to pretend that I had an imaginary friend...who just happened to be Ernie from Sesame Street. I would pretend and daydream for hours that Ernie and...
I'm sorry for you loss... "When the River Meets the Sea" is a great song to think of loved ones I also love the song "if Just One Person" both songs have touched me in a wonderful way. The messages in a lot of the songs the Muppets have done over there years have been so moving. If I really sat...
My thoughts/prayers are with you Charlie. If you need someone to talk to I'm here.
My hope for this thread that with fans sharing there personal feelings about the Muppets that some of us will become closer.
I love reading theses stories of how the Muppets bring joy to a sad or ailing child's heart. and how through out our teens and grown up years that has helps shaped who we are today as people.
I think I can relate to both of your stories. I was sick a lot when I was little and in the hospital a lot as well. The hospital had Muppets take Manhattan on vhs and I would get to watch it at least two to three times a day.
When I was not in the hospital I would wake up early every morning...
I was driving to work today and Had this though and after looking through the forum briefly I did not find anything that asked this question...so I thought why not.
I know most of us fans have a special place in our hearts for the Muppets but for some maybe most of us it's more then just being...
I agree it has to be done very carefully. I would like to see it happen someday like maybe when and if the Muppets get a new TV Show or something.
I think right now though the Muppets are still getting use to having Scooter back as one of there core. He did really well in the first movie and I...
The thing about April Fools jokes is that they have to be done well. They have to be believable and yet have a bit of hum to them. I have seen some jokes done on here that where great and then others that I knew from the thread title that it could not be true.
You also have to take into...
I love the Muppet Babies as much as the next kid who grew up in the 80's but I don't think that this movie would be the right place to bring Skeeter into the mix. There will be a time to come that she may fit but not right now.
I love the Henson's I have never had the wonderful chance to meet any of them in person but They all just seem so warm and kind. My thoughts and prayers go to them tonight.
It took me a long time to find the blu ray and have it work for me with the problems I had previously had. When I finally able to play the blu ray I was quite happy with the quality of the movie the sound and color. I also loved the Kermit/Gonzo/Rizzo/Charles Dickens/Staler & Waldorf...
Well from everything I've seen and heard this is going to be fun movie, which again will be bringing back some obscure Muppets back, Like Annie Sue. I would love to see if Wane and Wanda do a little more, since Wane did have a very short speaking line in "The Muppets"
